  • Hi, good performance... I am from Montreal Canada and I own a Gibson L4-c .... I have the original De Armond floating pickup but not the original pick-guard.... Serial number is A-86 and something....! Can somebody explain to me why a vintage ES-175 is more expensive than an L4-c.....? I can't explain it..!

  • 정말멋진 기타list

  • O Mighty fine,Mighty fine. Very clean Jorda. Nice job.

  • Any chance that you would be interested in selling that guitar? I've had my eye on a different 1952 l-4c but I think it's over priced. Thanks.

  • Right on, dude!! I definately enjoyed that video clip! You're very artistic on the guitar, & since I play the guitar myself, I can definately relate to this! Thanks!

  • Nice job! I'm just learning this. Love the run at .41. Is that written out anywhere? Thanks! Bunny

  • genial!!!

  • J. L.Bourland,

I love playing to your version of CB Rag, but I would like your help. At 1.20 you go into a 4 cord progression and I would like to know the notes. I play by ear and can't get this right. Can you help?

    Joe

  • yea! goog job!

    how old is your guitar?

  • thanks man your sweet camera view helped me learned a part that I was going crazy trying to figure out.

  • That is the way Travis played it. well done

  • one of the better sounding versions, right on!!

  • nice touches to this simple old tune. guitar tone doesn't come across too well on laptop speaker - which is a pity cos it looks like a pre-war Gibson - one of the sweetest guitars ever.

  • hey hows it going i made a new page lastnight check it out!! meetyourfling(.Com)

  • so well played...great stuff!!!!

  • GOOD!

  • Hey guys, Thanks for all the comments. It's been a long time since i last checked but if i remember right this guitar is an early 50's Gibson L4-C. It at one time did have a floating pickup (before i owned it) installed but right now there are no PU's.

    Thanks!

    Jordan

  • Very good!

What guitar is it? Where the pu's?

  • Pretty sure it says Gibson on the head-stock. Looks like one from the 'L' series?( vintage, maybe?) If I'm correct in any of those, then it doesn't have pickups. 1) because it's an arch-top acoustic, 2) because if it is vintage, guitars back then didnt have pickups built in, and 3) because I dont see a cord coming off of the guitar.

  • Very nice pick'n....Bill

  • Thats some great pickin and playin

  • What a riot...love it! Man, you can play. 5*'s

    What a beautiful guitar...
