Callas took pills bacuse of Onassis who used her and gave her a kick in the ass as he did nt need her anymore...but considering that she had been using peolple in her life, she deserved it

@GobbiTito You are always concentrated on cheating....be more concentrated and alert on Your partner (female or ...maybe...male..:-) )...Maria (pippo's 1st wife) knew that between Callas and Di Stefano there was an interior and artistic UNION and accepted it....I work at La scala theatre and I know that Callas had also some lesbic propension....but for me this LESBIC or HETERO...this CHEATING or be faithfull are not important for artists. But for you GOSSIPY things are more important thn music

@GobbiTito she wrote the first published edition of the (beautiful) book in 1982.Di Stefano died in 2008.So you can judge how precise is the crap is coming out of your mouth.Tebaldi was a wonderful singer;in the middle register she was far superior than callas,whose voice started to wabble in 1956!The collapse of her voice began even before Di Stefano's (which started in 1962).Gobbi had never voice enough to sing well.He was ridicoulous. Di Stefano rules on them all.You are ignorant but funny:-)

@GobbiTito and by the way:I love Callas but I love DiStefano even more.So respect him and don't you dear even to mention his Daughter,whom he loved so much.I ve been studying Callas&Distefano for 20years.I spoke with People close to them or even their familiar in order to get close to the truth.There are people like you who speak not knowing anything about real callas and accepting the stereotiped and sancified callas which for me is a product.The real callas was a normal woman in private life

I don't like this people.DiStefano could do nothing for her ill daughter(affected by cancer).He suffered like in hell as she died and his marriage got damaged.His 1st wife (maria) told me.I don't give a fuck of what YOU may say

SHE NEEDED THE OLD MENEGHINI TO HAVE SUCCESS AND SHE WANTED TO GET INTO THE HEART OF ONASSIS IN ORDERE TO GET TO THE HIGH SOCIETY , BUT SHE DIDN'T MAKE IT AND ONASSIS USED HER TILL HE WAS SICK OF HER AND KICKED HER OUT OF HIS LIFE...THE ONLY REAL LOVE IN HER LIFE WAS WITH DI STEFANO
