So with that being said, if it does come out that cyborg takes steroids, ill lose a lot of respect for her. And truth is, Gina is never going to beat a trained fighter thats such a genetic freak as cyborg who ALSO takes anabolics. So in that case, women's MMA would be ruined, becuase no feminine competitor is going to be able to challenge cyborg. So we would have two sports: Men's mma, and women-who-juice-and-thus-becom­e-men MMA.

Well, im 90% sure that cyborg is/was on some form of male hormone, either testosterone or some other, weaker steroid. I actually have no problem with men taking steroids(other than the fact that its cheating)...if it wasn't cheating, then i got no problem with men taking steroids, becuase the male body can handle responsible use of anabolics. But the female body cannot, It is not safe for females to take steroids, and doing so creates a HUGE unfaird advantage, much more so than with men

It did matter since Cyborg wanted to take her down and keep her down while Gina wanted to stay up and was doing really well against Cyborg in that instance. It's pretty obvious in the match if you saw it. Some people are much better at stand up, some focus on ground game and are weak at other things especially if they are still learning. Why not take advantage of their weaknesses and cater to your strengths.

Yeah, Gina is unique because she doesn't go hard core but that's not necessarily a bad thing. People are different and if she has to take breaks to be a better fighter than that's great! Since she is in the spotlight so much I think it's a good idea for her to lay low. Fame changes people(mostly for the worst) but I think she's handling the pressure really well.

I luv Gina but I think its hard for her to embrace being in the spotlight and the face of women's MMA. Fighters like erin oughill and cyborg want to be number one and are willing to do anything and call out anyone to get to the top. Their determined to be the best.. Gina seems like she kinda just wants to do her. which is not necessarily a bad thing, i just hope she maximizes her potential and doesn't let all the pressure get into her head and her work ethic.. good interview!
