  • If I build something like it, would I have any problems with making it legal in the us?

  • i have no idea how to make a plane and i doubt they will build you one for cheap or at all

  • hard disk motors put to good use. cool.

  • No, you don't need a multi-engine rating. You would if it could carry a passenger and you had one on board. Otherwise, this should be just fine. Check with the FAA.

  • dear santa....

  • wie teuer?

  • really nice with to motors wow

  • @atiger2168 yeah because one weed eater motor might not be enough...

  • OMG I WANT ONE

  • can you say SKETCHY

  • you dont sit in it, you sit on it

  • Haha, Jackie Chan flew this in the beginning of Operation Condor 2.

  • I'll take it!....If somebody else buys it for me. Lol.

  • Its small yes, but will it blend?

  • Wow imagine this in bad weather

  • lmao at the start of the song :P

  • BBC has an article, "Tiny electric plane unveiled". This new plane has the same name, CriCri - I wonder if they're related.

  • It will crash. I don't know when - but it will.

  • You'd look really funny dying in this thing.

  • ive seen this in real!!!

  • a flying lawnmower!

  • look guys the jetsons have arrived lol

  • how do i get one??? and where??

    and how much it cost??

  • how do i get one??? and where??

  • Awesome machine!!!

  • if we get these to be commercially available and solar powered then they would be gr8!

  • now you see with machines like this we can make flying availible to everybody cheaply and safe. jet engines are the way forward. we don't have to focus on high speed either. with ultra lighteight thermo plastic aircraft with large wing span and jet engines we can ahcieve low takeoff and landing speeds. we need aviation prices to drop to the level of automobiles. consider also that less materials and resources are used to manafacture aircraft such as this

  • its just too stupid to risk your life on this garbage

  • @TheSaltysack for some it is stupid to never live

  • I want one to put a big ass jet engine on it

  • you have know idea how bad i want one..

  • my chair is bigger than this. Wait maybe i can fit my weed eater's motor to my chair.

  • Dear Santa...

  • This is calleda Cri Cri, they are total blast to fly!! aerobatic rated and all... just can't go very far. It holds 6-7 gallons of 2 cycle fuel and has a range of about 200nm. Most people want to know if it will keep flying with one engine - yep. It will even CLIMB with one engine.

  • More room than flying southwest. LOL

  • what's the name of the song playing?

  • I can shoot that thing out of the sky with my air rifle.

  • O_o fat pilots loose your weight if this became your training plane the engine would fart lol???

  • are you shittin me? =O

  • Does this still qualify as an ultra light? How much does it weigh?

  • I definately want the plans though

  • im pretty sure this plane is soo light you dnt need a licence

  • Comment removed

  • How much does this airplane cost?

  • you fast fowarded it way too much

  • Si Chiama Cri Cri..Your Name Is Cri Cri!!!

  • "Turbomäßig geil, like a model-aircraft..."

    Rainer Yvonné Klawonné

  • i wanna see justin beiber fly this plane

  • @waleedgilani

This really actually did make me LOL.

  • Ha, I could blow this thing out of the sky with a .22

  • Watch my video of the Cri Cri youtube.com/watch?v=5T0Xd_YBZZc

  • its actually pretty stable!

  • woww really cool!

  • Love the plane. This is the best job of miniaturization I have seen applied to a small plane that is still functional and airworthy. Great job!

  • how much could I spend at all for crafting this plane?

  • how much I would spend for crafting cri cri plane at all?

  • you could take off from your driveway and park it in the garage. LOL!!

  • can this plane safely glide in case of engine failure? looks better than terrafugia roadable aircraft

  • @luigimanzanares If the wings provide lift in a wind tunnel then this would be the plane you'd want to be flying if engine failure occurs.I bet there is little to no stall characteristics, thing is soooo light.

  • Hummelbird is a way smaller plane but this one isnt that big itself

  • I've always wanted crap like this :|

  • Sweet airplane xD

  • i will never fly in that thing. talk about blown by the wind, stall-spin-crash, i would never survive acceleration due to gravity on this one especially.

  • the funny part is that you need a multiengine rating on you PPL to fly this flea!

  • 'could park it in your garage lol

  • @zanfozanfani I've seen one that had 2 AMT model airplane turbines of 45Lbs thrust each. The FAA would require a multiengine turbojet type rating to fly.

  • @av8rdav yes I know, CRI CRI with 2 model turbine. I saw it years ago, was in France. Anyway it would be a good way to get jet flight hours on logbook at low price :)

  • @zanfozanfani Not really. If it's under 1000lbs you require no license at all. It qualifies as an ultralight.

  • @HauntingBull under 254 qaulifies as ultralights

  • @CrazyVT22 My mistake.

  • @zanfozanfani Actually, in the USA you don't need to be multi-engine rated to fly it because it's an amateur-built experimental aircraft that isn't carrying passengers. FAR 61.31 (l)(2)(iii)(B)

  • @zanfozanfani Not necessarily. In some countries EAA can classify this as a single engine installation, as the engines are really close together.

  • @zanfozanfani hahhahahahh i never thouht about that

  • @zanfozanfani lol

  • nice plane

  • The little plane seems to clime out nicely!

  • great one

  • i salute you mate , this is a great aircraft, and i would appriciate if you give me the information on where to buy 1 . i live in australia and iv been searching around for an airplane of this size for a long time. thank you .

  • wow this is my dream plane. I wanna have a very very small plane like that.

  • My RC plane has a bigger engine than that!!!

  • I think I've seen bigger remote control planes.

  • @13Knives1 Sure have, just look at the UAV Predator airplane the military uses, its Remotely controlled and almost as big as an A-10 Warthog

  • i had one i have to sell it away because its too damn noisy

  • i did

  • Sweet, you guys have balls thats for shore....I just cant make my self do that.. Little thing lands fast...

  • Can someone tell me which song is used in this video... nice video and nice aircraft

  • thats a nippy little thing.

wouldnt mind purchasing one and use the runway as my garden haha

    X

  • just your your drive way lol

  • its a Cri Cri smallest multi engine aircraft in the world. Fully aerobatic too.

  • Wow that thing looks fragile.

  • Its called a Hummel.

  • OMFG HE DONE 9/11! AND up ur ass

  • have the seat reclined much much more and you and reduce the size and drag on that huge funky canopy.

  • Yup, the Cri-Cri (Cricket). Some dutch dude fitted 2 AMT jet engines to this plane as well, making what must be one of the smallest jets in the world.

  • lol, it look's like a rc plane!

  • thats not the smallest, but that still really small

  • yep, it's the cri cri

  • Nice!!!

  • Damn dude I love airplanes and this is something but I will tell u "u got balls". This are probably the most efficient engines in the world. How fast, high, and range on ur aircraft. This is interesting!!!

  • i have a f22 raptor and its way cooler than that like mach 3.7

  • really, thats so cool! i have a space shuttle. loser.

  • I own the Millennium Falcon. HA! :-P

  • yeah well i use my girlfriends air head and big boobs as a hot "air" baloon. all natural and enviro firendly. renewable gas lol

  • i got a nice blackbird

  • I wonder how many hours you would get out of those little hummers. They would have to be cheap to replace. What is the range of this aircraft? What are stall characteristics like? Is the aircraft stable? Any quirks in handling?

  • would like more information on the little motors used to power the aircraft.

  • 2 8hp Stihl engines from chainsaws

  • dude I think you are actually right!!! looks like an engine out of a Stihl MS 880, ROFL! Those are badass engines, right from the manufacturer! If they really are chainsaw engines I wonder what alterations they made for it to be airworthy?
