I love your videos, but you might want to reconsider the "burning cross scene"...lol...(i kid), I do have a question tho...i just getting started in the RC plan hobby and wanted to know what would be a good, first build...p.s on the way to HomeDepot to pick up som BlueCor now
Fascinating video...very well done. Nice job showing all your various tests, including tests to failure. Your selection of a box beam to test in flexure was wise: an I-beam probably would have torqued and failed prematurely. For subsequent builds, I'm going to Lowes.
@PhilWarner Mine is a low temp gun, and the glue is "workable" on foam for about 20 seconds or so. Anything solid like steel will cool it real fast unless I preheat the steel also. Haven't used a high temp gun as it tends to melt the foam.
Good job perfect explanation. I will buy some of these foams:) A lot much chipper:)

Were you using a high, medium or low temp glue gun and how many seconds of working time do you have with that temp?

My friend's bluecor mini biplane got caught in the wind high up and ended up with a powerless fall from something like 100ft up! No damage. :D

@RyGuy5320 Wow! Its pretty strong stuff... do you know what kind of glue/tape he used to build it?
MyGeekShowdotcom 9 months ago
@MyGeekShowdotcom Yep, he used hot glue. We're both members of a high school model aviation club and we all mainly use bluecor and hot glue.
