I'm from New Jersey and whenever i tell someone i'm from here, i instantly get the whole are you a mobster/italian/guido thing and it's annoying. I would say 90% of the guidos you see on TV are from NY and just down for the summer. And also, people say NJ is dirty and polluted. Also not true. People say this because they usually fly into Newark Airport, which is in a really industrial area with factories and such. Drive 20 minutes in any direction and it's nice.
thats cute how you guys think 39 is "really cold" it was 10 today in wisconsin, and it wasnt a big deal for anyone here, i walked home from school. i dont thinks its been above 30 here all week...
@TheEnviroFriend thats why in the captions it says its cold compared to 70 or 80 degrees so it depends how warm your state gets max and the stereotypical temperature people think your state is . People not in the states even, especailly those in cooler climates, think that CA is always hot. i'll just i'm pointing out is that it is not always that way so they might want to bring other clothes other than swim suits and t-shirts. but yeah compared to other places its warm/ hot ^_^
@gemgen101 the stereotype we have of you here is that you guys cant handle slightly cold weather. im not trying to be mean, im just saying you didnt disprove any stereotypes to me. we get over 100 degree weather at least once every summer, and at least -10 a couple times every winter. we can get both 80 degree weather and snow in march
btw you can surf in winter, we do it in wisconsin, in the great lakes(which are cold even in the summer). if you dont believe me look it up.
@TheEnviroFriend haha i didn't say that we californians don't surf but people say we surf to school and i'm saying that is wrong. We drive , walk or bike to school, not surf to school.
i'm not trying 2 prove CA is colder than any state. i'm saying person A living in area 3 thinks CA is 100+weather all the time, that its never cold. i'm telling person A that CA can me 100+ AND 30 or below. stereotype that CA is ALWAYS hot = proven wrong. Not saying that its freezing compared to other states btw
Hey, there are lots of stereo types of where i live, England, haha first off, like only 5% of people that live here have the 'english' accent, the one you used was posh, lol like aristocrat posh, although the reality is that there are like 20 different accents, despite England is so small! haha Oh an no we dont always eat crumpets and drink tea, haha for most people here its just getting pissed thats important...x
@saficls yeah ever since i uploaded me & my cousin trying an english accent i've been informed on things like the posh accent and the tea and crumpets. speaking of tea, you guys don't drink tea like the chinese do you? do you mix milk in there? and look up "21 accents". she gives some different english accents from the different parts of england. thats like here in the U.S. there are different accents based off where you live.
@gemgen101 yea haha true, i mean my family drink lots of tea but most people don't , an lol it's with milk, but obviously it depends on ur preference, and hmm, i think I've heard some of the accents and the difference, although over here i think there are loads of stereo types about the U.S...
@saficls See? i'm glad i learned about the tea thing b/c i didn't know :D And ooo what stereotypes? i know they have that americans are spoiled & stupid and we're into celebs but the truth (from what I see ) compared to other countries & how we get new gadgets ever 2 years, we are spolied, SOME people are stupid b/c they feel they don't need to learn since they're in a powerful country but ITS NOT ALL people, and only the west coast in So Cal are really into celebs, others just read bout it
@gemgen101 lol, ermmm, there are stereotypes like all Americans are fat and stupid haha, lol thats just plain ignorance, an something that's both ways would be 'not understanding British or American humor' , hmm i guess there's actually quite a lot more tbh, an yeah I think there might be a bit of jealousy too, like tech wise we're on bar with u's guys, although sadly; we don't get 4g over here; yet.
