I think Mary Pickford is amazing,I don't know what her real personality was like,but to have had such a hard,messed up childhood and to have had the drive it took to be a big success and to pull her family out of poverty,I applaud her.A lot more people nowadays should have the same drive and the same determination as she did.

I like how Fairbanks and Chaplin fake the third attempt. Doug pretended to be tired, but caught Charlie in a comic pose and helped with the rest of the gag. He then lifts Charlie easily in the last attempt.
