3D BULLET RIG is the world's lightest, most affordable, true handheld 3D rig. Compatible with Canon XF105, XF305, 5D, Sony F3, EX3, Epic, DSLR and many other cameras. It's sleak, easy-to-use design provides precise inter-occular (0-3.5"), convergence (0-3 deg), and full x-y-z axis control Visit 3DFilmFactory(dot)com
The camera has a sweet spot of about 8 to 20 ft. Anything closer is unusable (hard on the eyes) and anything further begins to look flat (2D) and might actually become "ganked". That's when two backgrounds (behind the subject) are different due to the covergence trajectory and when merged in post - don't match. This causes eye-strain. Also the lenses not what you get with single lens systems or cimena lenses. Other than that - it's a nice camera and a useful tool for 3D filming.

I have a Canon 500D and a Loreo 3D Stereo Lens and it looks just as good.
Also it will not cost you $21,000.00.
The lens cost me $124.00 and of course my 550D rig cost around $1000.00
Either way you have to change the video in post. So save some money.

This camera is no good if your wanting to shoot anything past 30 feet.
Do to the io being so locked in this is not the best answer for 3D.
Your major limitations are that this camera does not work anything closer than 6 feet and nothing past 30 feet.
Because of this we decided its best to stick with two Sony PMW-EX3 camcorders and a beam splitter.
Now you have no limitations and are about the same in price.

@islandboystv
I'm afraid you're wrong, explain in detail why you would think that it doesn't work past 30 feet.

@P4INKiller
No were, were actually right about this.
This camera has a fixed IO that even Panasonic discusses when viewing and using this camera. 6-30 feet is its limitations.

@islandboystv
By fixed IO, I presume you mean the perspective of both lenses.
This doesn't need changing, reason being that this is done by the viewer, with his own eyes.
Granted, there are going to be issues if you're filming something that won't fit in either view.

Nevermind, I see what you're saying now.
Personally though I wouldn't want to change the IO, things way out in the distance are supposed to look flat.
