I worked at an Albertsons north of Seattle 30 years ago. A few months after I started, a larger store opened just a mile or two away. Our business dwindled and soon we were gone. I think the building is a church now.
At least Lubbock still had Albertsons until recently =/ San Antonio Albertsons closed down around 2001 and now all we have are HEB's... Although now that I goto university in Austin I shop at Randalls =D
Man that sucks. I was born and raised in lubbock. Thats my home, but I have been away from there for about 6 years now. I hate to hear this, it was my favorite place to shop.

Man that sucks. I was born and raised in lubbock. Thats my home, but I have been away from there for about 6 years now. I hate to hear this, it was my favorite place to shop.

I loved Albertsons. I wish we stll had stores here in Houston. I know Albertsons is still in Dallas and around that area.
