  • About Hitler?

  • bei dem ganzen Scheiss der passiert....ist das hier eine Offenbarung, dass Licht im Dunkeln;-)

  • These were oldies back in 1976 when I first started driving, but I loved this song then and still do now.

  • is it me or is there people who just dislike every video they see, ive never seen a video without a dilike unless they deactivated the likes/dislikes... its stupid, these people should stop ruining it for the people who actually enjoy it, so if you're one of them, then just crawl into a ball and die

  • @hotel221 I disliked. For you. [[171108522930776]]

  • i adore this track..

  • I personally liked this kind of music from the Bee Gees rather than the Disco :/

  • his vibrato is so shaking but it fit this song!

  • If these songs were aired today they would be revoulitionary and be hits again.

  • Bee Gees sang emo songs before it was cool.

  • this song is beautifullllllllllll I liked

  • My father turned this song whenever we travel were

I love this kind of music, as the BeeGees and more.

    thank you daddy

  • I remember this song when my sis was crazy about the BeeGees. I could hear it blasting fom her room, which started the whole world crying. And I fell out of my bed, hurting my head, from things that I said. Hey that's true, really!

  • Not much to add to what's already been said by so many. This is just a gorgeous song.

  • Beautiful

  • I thank God everyday for my mother and her wonderful taste in music, I'm 16 years old and for all of my existence she has listened to the 60's, 70's and 80's. Thank you mother.

  • I first heard this song after I was told some sad news that made me really listen to the words and realised what it was telling me was I should have paid more attention to what I was doing and than i wouldn't have experienced what I had. This changed my whole attitude and now I really think before acting.

  • I was 12 or 13 years old when this song was on the charts. I loved it then and so love it now. The Bee Gees were such a part of my growing up years. I am hoping Robin's health keeps getting better and better.

  • i looked at the skies running my hands over my eyes

  • jaja was three two left....

  • I too just read that Robin is seriously ill with liver cancer...get well soon Robin and know that I am still listening....

  • Just heard Robin Gibb has liver cancer. As soon as I heard that news, I played this song.

  • so beautiful to think that many people can relate to this song which liberates one from feeling only the sadness the author describes.Pure art to me because he evokes the liberation from the sad emotions implied by the words felt in an oblique individualistic way by the listener depending on their own time and space when they hear the music.Withstands all tests of time.

  • A great song. This what evergreens are all about. Thank you very much Graffitis. Welcome to Taipei City. Have a pleasant Sunday. 20111120@0554am.

  • Each time I listen to this beautiful song, , I am thinking of my dear late sister who passed away in a car crash in1986, she was 30. I was in Africa then, I haven't' been able to go to her funeral, I was in the plane coming back for vacation, I was with my 2 kids by the time, I leaned the news that she passed away when i had a stop over in Paris. i am sill regretting of not having been there to say goodbye to her. So, dear Carole, i dedicate this song to you. May you RIP sweetheart

  • its you who help the music stations and music executives forget songs that are really creative and true. You pander and run to buy any latest idiocy they pummel you with. you dont know the beegees before the 70's then you never knew them. and their early stuff was the great stuff its when they still had a song to sing not a contract to fullfill

  • Favorite song of all time and iam 13

  • the most awesome sound in the world <3

  • The Barbie dvd commercial before this really sets the mood.

  • this song oddly describes my life right now.

  • The 39 people thing is only a play on the mystery of this song , which is only trully understood by the 101 chosen ones.

  • THIS is GREAT !!

  • Amazing song...

  • This is an unknown song to me , before my time. I know Beegees from the 70s but not 60s.

Should be played more often on the radios but they have forgot it I think.

  • I seem to have a few of these mornings in my life!

Kinda like those "LIT" My own worst enemy mornings.

  • everyone is mindless about how the world is promoting being cold and heartless as something cool to be. Music industry picks and chooses what sounds come out while some of the greatest melodies and actually singing a song to sing the song not to prove vocal acrobatics is thrown out and people rush to SOUND LIKE the latest SOUND instead of true creativity

  • im down........

  • Timeless classic.

  • The joke was on 39 people.

  • @CheMacarron

That 39 people fit exactly with what the lyrics are all about.

  • @CheMacarron drooool... retard comment of the year...

  • @CheMacarron now it's 41 lol

  • @CheMacarron 45 now lol

  • such a true song

  • there still are some good singers today who sing about life and love but i really hate when people sing about gettin hoes and bitches, and smoking weed, and killing people. because i dont give a shit how high you were, or how many bitches were in your room. i care about how you are feeling and the way you express it through music.

  • @TannerFreshLikeKobe Totally agree. That kind of music is mindless

  • @TannerFreshLikeKobe well said .

  • sometimes, old songs are way better than the songs of today

  • @luv2hateprincess07 Sometimes? old songs are always better.

  • @CrustyClown11 LOLOLOLOL Agreed.

  • I used to sing this to my kids when they were getting tucked in for the nite, 30 some years ago. My oldest told me he was in the car and this came on and he thought of me. You can't beat that.

  • @yikesoyikes1 im sure that they love there dad so much :) tnx for inspiration

  • @yikesoyikes1

    Touching...

  • the fighter brought me here

  • @zachleda me 2 :o

  • I started a joke Which started the whole world crying But I didn't see That the joke was on me I started to cry Which started the whole world laughing Oh if I'd only seen That the joke was on me I looked at the skies Running my hands over my eyes And I fell out of bed Hurting my head from things that I said 'Till I finally died Which started the whole world living Oh if I'd only seen that the joke was on me I looked at the skies Running my hands Over my eyes And I fell out of bed Hurting..

  • What a wonderful song... Makes me cry each time I listen to it but so beautiful lyrics and music... We need songs like that nowadays...

It's a great shame that most of the people only consider the Bee Gees as a disco band and don't know pretty songs they made before, like this one.

  • A very special song with very special lyrics.People had imagination and talent at that time.Nowadays I hear only a lot of "industrial, commercial shit" called "music"

  • I heard Faith No Mores version ad I decided to hear the original.

  • The Fighter Brought me Here !

  • @tenzinnify Me too :)

  • this an ode to ADOLF HITLER who is back aee my channel for proof

  • I started a joy and started the whole world crying , then I started to cry and started the whole world laughing , how sad am I when the whole world no one like me , need to find out why //// yyyyyyy////

  • bellissima,quanto tempo è passato e quanti ricordi.....Marina

  • bellisima e tanti Ricordi Marina

  • Now I'll just think of the Joker every time I hear this.

  • The Joke is on 36 people

  • For some reason, this song always reminds me of the book A Clockwork Orange.

  • @45andcounting Thats kinda creepy lol I dont think of A Clockwork Orange at all. But then again I only saw the movie (which was creepy I might add)

  • @BooUcMe "I started a joke which started the whole world crying"- at the start, alex's acts of sadistic violence bring misery to others. "I started to cry which started the whole world laughing"- after he is reformed in prison, everyone starts to pick on him, becoming just as violent as he had been. "I finally died which started the whole world living"- in the book, there's a final chapter where alex reforms out of his own free will, so you could say that the younger alex has died.

  • @BooUcMe so there you go, that's why this song reminds me of the book a clockwork orange :D

  • Beautiful Song;some heavy lyrics if you really listen;

  • @Korvinski How right you're!!!

@Graffitist Thanks a lot for uploading the great songs of BGs !!!

  • terry fator brought me here lol i completely forgot about this song

  • Zoolander brought me here

  • This song tugged at my heartstrings as a child growing up in the 60's. It seemed to invoke so many meanings. Thanks for posting!

  • The only BG's song i'll listen to.

  • Start listen to this song in the year 1974 , the more I listen the more I love this song . The wording for this song are so meaningful that so how rather I feel that this song is specially dedicated to all top person in the politic , big organisation , and those few unwanted top man in the middle east when they empire was pull down by his own country citizen .

  • One word , één woord Wondefull , prachtig

  • This song and album a CLASSIC.

  • Here's a place in time that society forgot. When music was cool, groovy & innocent. Lyrics were clean and people were pure and unspoiled. Unlike today how media serves our kids a bunch of FILTH where lyrics of gang-sta rap & hip-hop are full of profanity, recording artists are horny sexual beings portrayed in videos & pop stars are admired for getting in trouble with the law - WHAT kind of CRAP is that ?? Just citing how societal erosion is deteriorating the very fabric that holds us together.

  • @Korvinski well, i believe that there was a great sexual revolution afoot right around the time of this song, but i SO agree with you that the music and pop culture of today is really sad. people used to try to emulate good people. that doesn't seem to happen anymore.

  • @Korvinski I'm a teen and totally agree. Modern music sucks. I swear to god, I'm the only one who goes to school listening to Van Morrison, or the Bee Gee's, or even the good old Beatles!

  • @JZPotter don't worry, although you might feel like your alone, you're not

  • @JZPotter U R SPECIAL, VERY SPECIAL.

  • @Korvinski I'm really sick of people going on about how bad modern media is and claiming that "society is in decline". The idea that everything used to be innocent is pure fantasy, created partially from nostalgia. A lot (not all) of older music hid drug and sexual references.

Of course there should be a limit, but it's just fiction. Not everything is even meant for kids. You don't have to like it, but you could try to sound less like a fundamentalist preacher who calls everything evil.

  • @Korvinski So so so true!!! :(

  • @Korvinski I mostly agree that entertainment has become very cheesy with a great many "artists" rising to fame for reasons unknown. True quality performers are rare with mere average people making millions while less "marketable" people are kicked to the curb. I think it is coming full circle though, with so many comments here from young people who long for music like this today. They are getting fed up with all the hype and are looking for more uplifting and quality music I think. Thank God.

  • @Korvinski The previous generation is probably saying the same about Glen Miller music, but nevertheless you make a reasonable point.

I personally can't visualise how the stereotypical fans of hip-hop music with their fathers underwear hanging out, along with losers holding handguns sideways can ever contribute much to the future of the planet, but perhaps that's just a failing of my ability to imagine eh?

  • @OftenMisled Boxing the whole hiphop genre into such stereotype is insulting to that form of music. It used to be an artform. I grew up with hip hop during the mid 80's and early 90's, when the point was to tell great stories and discuss issues in society, and not talk about who has the most money and coolest cars.

Every genre has their sellouts, and for some reason people keep supporting artists with no talent whatsoever. I'm looking at you Lil Wayne.

  • @Korvinski very well said!

  • This is such a lovely song, calming! Great song to listen to late at night!

  • beautiful song excellent nice
