Hi! I played a 2D game nearly 20 years ago on an Amstrad 3/86 (with win 3.11 running) with a similar gameplay: producing AI units (by hotkeys) which were running from my base (on the left) to the enemy base (on the right side). By moving mouse and clicking its buttons I had control over a helicopter to support my ground units with bombs (to drop upon enemy infantry & vehicles) and AA missiles against the enemy helicopter. The aim was to destroy the enemy base. Does anybody still know that game?

the game rates a 10, but jumps down like 3 points after you get most of everything, then one more when you unlock all, but I'm sure that shadez 2 will be freakin' awesome, and won't get repetative, especially sinc eyou can buy even more crap on the mochigames version.

what do you think of transporting units in battle with chinooks, I think they're very useful, especially in the expert map, but it makes the units you drop twice as expensive

find a file in the list with .swf at the end.

save it to desktop.

Add more fire support like gattling gun support,Jdam Bombs, etc,ALso make more veichles like light armoured transport veichles,Anti aircraft veichles, and also make more soldier types like sniper which can take out enemy soldiers from long range,Ant tank soldiers that can take out tanks and other armoured ifantry carriers,Medics which heal soldiers,machine gunners,Shotgunner,Officers,SO­ldiers that are on veichles with weapons,Suicide Bombers or close combat soldiers andPLEASE add this to Shadez2

The game is fun - but too easy. If I had the patience, I could play forever (literally forever) with one simple strategy - simply call in artillery strike after artillery strike (overlapping) right at the point the "bad guys" enter the game. Add a very few tanks and helicopters to pick off anyone that gets through, and you can play forever without a single enemy ever reaching your base.

my 6 yr old nephew got me hooked on this one. I spent two hours getting to stage 63 repeating the same strategy every level. and then I realised you can actually stop the vehicles...? this video shows that you can get really creative with it. great game sean. It's simple yet has enough elements for very different crazy strategies.

Keeping the AH-64s back allows them to take out the suicide bombing aircraft. Don't use the patriot if you can.

another bad thing is you cannot select more than one unit. for example if I want to order all units to stop, or order multiple chinooks to deploy the tanks/infantry together. The graphics and sound is pretty awesome for a flash game though.

This is a good game, the only thing about it is that suicide bombers are overpowered and the Chinooks that move spec-ops around are worthless unless you have a ceiling of helicopters to stop the planes

Yeah but the apaches defeat the purpose of having infantry and the patriot missiles are only good for one plane, then the one right behind it destroys every spec op you have

Click on them, then click on the little triangle at the bottom of the screen, under the stop command.
