Fox KO's BOWSER a HEAVY with an upsmash at 90%. That's insane. FOx is in KO range hen his opponent ha 80%. Must be why he's top tier.

@BonJoviFanboy moves that kill upwards are actually based more on the fall speed physics of the character and not necessarily of the weight. Captain falcon is the best combination of weight and falling speed to make him hardest to kill off the top - where lighter character are generally floatier and easier to kill off the top -samus for example is one of the heaviest characters in melee! Bowser has unusual physics, being a "semi-floaty super heavy" character - really tough to kill off the sides!

@Gimpyfish62 Ya I know. That's why it's much more prefeable to kill Fox off the sides. And why Jigglypuff sucks when hit with upward moves as she's so floaty and is easily Koed this way. I meant that Fox as incredible killing power with U moves compared to other chars. Even though Bowser isn't the best at surviving hits off he top, he's better han others. I've seen players koed as ittle as 67% on this map due to the low ceiling. However, I didn't know Capt. Falcon was the best. Thanks!

You dont even know how tiers work. Tiers arent each individual matchup. Say for example, Pichu had a good matchup on Fox. Fox is higher on the tier, but Pichu has a lot higher ADVANTAGE on the fox.

Tiers are basically a formation of tourney rankings and The characters who have more favorable matchups.

Tiers = Fake.

A single match doesn't alter or disprove tiers. For instance, if Bowser beat Fox, that doesn't alter the tier list. If it did, that would also mean that if Fox beat Bowser in the next match, Fox must actually be better, right? No. (not solely due to the match anyways)

Also, IIRC, tiers can't possibly account for one's skill level. This also doesn't disprove the tier list.
