I'm skilled ;) j/k lol Well the car is fine in a straight line at high speed, can't say the same if it's super windy outside though but it's not dangerous or anything just requires minor adjustments if it's really windy outside.

I live in the city so it's a great car to drive on a fri or sat night since I can park it anywhere like in front of a club. And since it isn't my only car, I actually like how it feels like I'm driving a gocart even though it's engineered to feel very roomy on the inside. But I do have to correct you that it does have A/C.

with the stock smart and warm temps i'm getting 50mpgs in daily driving, best trip of 61.6mpgs. i'm about to install a Solo performance exhaust with 2" pipe throughout which should get me 10% more hp and 20% more torque.

I did it only to see how far you can push the limit and isn't that how technology advances and enchances our life? Stop hating. Currently the car still has the stock engine at 10 to 1 compression ratio, 20 pounds of boost with intake air temp of 90 degrees with silver plugs. 230 hp on 3 clyinders and 1 liter engine, try to match that output on a factory engine. Most cars that cost twice the smart car doesn't even come with forged pistons and connecting rods. Might as well respect that.

New gearing will change that. My 03 Tacoma does 0-60 in 6.8 but I have 3 more cylinders and 3 more liters. How much do smart cars weigh?

The smart is actually fairly heavy for it's size, it's about.. a tad under 2000 pounds.. or one ton. The 0-60 should be quicker if it wasn't for the transmission, I'm having the ECU and TCu reflashed... I have a prototype and it's on my other video or the latest one I posted. Dropped it down even more :) Once I raise the RPM successfully I can cut down one gear change and that'll bring the 0-60 down to about 5-6 seconds compared to 14+ sec stock... now that's not bad in my books :)

And honestly, 230 hp with 2000 lbs gives you a better power to weight ratio than a Camaro SS, which gets to 60 in 4.6-4.8 sec, with one fewer gearchange than is nevessary in the Smart. So, apparently, ONE gearchange costs almost SIX seconds??
