And your character looks like she (or he ?) just got her (or his?) wisdom teeth removed. This game still looks appealing to me, I might get it for PS3, the edition with Shivering Isles you know.
i'm installing Oblivion as i'm writing this, i played Skyrim at least 3 weeks and it's boring as shit, it's too easy, the quests are lame, the skills are dumbed down and broken, for example
i maxed out my Sneak skill and got all the perks for it and it was night so i decided to sneak up on a sleeping bear that was about 20 meters away from me and guess what? he instantly turned around and started charging at me, Oblivion is still a better and more fun game than Skyrim (IMHO)
Very interesting point of view I have to say, but in 3 weeks I guess you know what you are talking about. Fortunately those are not my problems in Skyrim at this point (108 hours). Time will tell.

If you have annotations on, you should understand. Actually even without them. Find the place, save before entering and check the loot. If (random) loot is poor, load save and try again until you decide to leave the place. Not much more to say.
I sell probably 90% of items I found. Fin Gleam is nice unique collectable, but totally useless for me, because I don't like nighteye effect. I could use nighteye spell in certain rare situations though. I still never sell Fin Gleam.

This is one of the reasons Oblivion was really unsatisfying to play. No boss battles, random junk in each trunk, hardly any special weapon worth killing for.. everyone carried umbra and never finished the quest for no weight penalty and infinite enchantment
@SkateNGame16 if you get umbra's sword, it weighs 0 and has infinite uses (soultrap), but if you complete the quest by going back to the statue, you get Umbra's sword with weight and without infinite uses, so it makes no sense to finish that quest

that's a secret endroom of a necromancer-dungeon ~_~ that you are able to access it so easily is a bug - they forgot to lock the trapdoor with a key you can only find in the dungeon.

My English is not very good, so I'm not sure what you mean. In my last comment I meant that the main quests are only small part of all quests and you can very well continue playing after that. I have one level 51 character with which I haven't done the main quests yet. Oblivion is about freedom and large(ish) world (about 40 square kilometers).

@ycs1121 No, You don't become Emperor. You become "Champion of Cyrodiil". Now this means there is NO emperor. The only perk you get from being "Champion" Is Dragon armor.. Its really nothing special. But to answer your question, no you done become the official emperor...you can think you are. But there really is no emperor after martin dies.
To make a goodlookin' character in oblivion is nearly impossible, I spent like almost an hour to try and make mine look good, and it still looks horrific compared to "real" good looks.
Sorry, but I make all my characters look like I want them to look. For me that is somewhat obvious. If it's hard to understand or you have different taste, I can't help.
Weightlessness is very nice, but personally I don't like forced soul trap effect at all. Reason for that is, that I don't want to fill high level gems with lesser souls. I rather make my own enchantments.
@Taaplari true but you dont have to refill the uses either, and its the second strongest blade anyways and you can always have azuras star which is an indefinite use soul gem

that's a secret endroom of a necromancer-dungeon ~_~ that you are able to access it so easily is a bug - they forgot to lock the trapdoor with a key you can only find in the dungeon.

Many thinks so, but Cinnamon (former Cindy) is actually Jeanine Stifler's daughter. Steve Stifler is her stepbrother (different father). Teleporting herself to Cyrodiil is a long story, but I can tell that she doesn't like Steve at all. Steve's behavior was the main reason. That much I can say here.

Robbers glen cave is also a very good place to loot about 9 or 10 chests
and only imps (+ 1 random to level creature) to protect it

Not at all. You just can't get Sigil stones anymore, because all oblivion gates disappear. Main quest is tiny part of this game.

My English is not very good, so I'm not sure what you mean. In my last comment I meant that the main quests are only small part of all quests and you can very well continue playing after that. I have one level 51 character with which I haven't done the main quests yet. Oblivion is about freedom and large(ish) world (about 40 square kilometers).

@ycs1121 you cant be a emperor you are only be a explore home owner the master of each guild in the game cant rule the whole empire and such only rule the shivering isle you also can be head knight of the knights of the round table (i meant knights of the nine :D ) thats basically all you can be u can try being a bandit but that is never fun because u only get imperial guards walking about

@ycs1121 No, You don't become Emperor. You become "Champion of Cyrodiil". Now this means there is NO emperor. The only perk you get from being "Champion" Is Dragon armor.. Its really nothing special. But to answer your question, no you done become the official emperor...you can think you are. But there really is no emperor after martin dies.

Weightlessness is very nice, but personally I don't like forced soul trap effect at all. Reason for that is, that I don't want to fill high level gems with lesser souls. I rather make my own enchantments.

@Taaplari true but you dont have to refill the uses either, and its the second strongest blade anyways and you can always have azuras star which is an indefinite use soul gem
