Sorry guys I love my 5.7L V8 Tundra. It can tow a 20' gooseneck horse trailer loaded down with 6 horses with no problem. Toyota's are reliable and the Tundra is definitely a competitor in the truck market. I get 20mpg regularly with my super 40 exhaust which more I can say for any other U.S. manufacturer of trucks. This truck is used daily at our horse farm.

@Tungsten23 .....me and my cousin towed his double decker pontoon boat with his 5.7 tundra and the truck didnt even feel it. Its an 2007 with 80K and it still runs like new. The tow was a 3 hour trip with hills. Brakes held up too. He does it every year for the past 3 years now with no issues. I'm a Chevy man for years, but I gotta give it to his truck. We are installing a aFe cold air kit, spacer, and mach 4 exhaust next week.

Toyota Tundra's are not Standard they are automatic with the ability to shift in drive mode. But putting on the parking brake takes some of the strain off the transmission when it is just sitting. I would recommend that everybody do it, regardless of their car or truck. Put the pressure on the brakes instead of on your transmission. Your transmission will last longer.
