It is basicly a strip down version of the sidekick. It's 50$ you can change the bumpers and the back cover and its a pretty nice phone if you are not big on taking pictures or you like to personalize it.

You should relly consider getting the sidekick 3 or the sidekick LX (when it comes out). The sidekick id does not have and mp3 player or a camera. It also does not use bluetooth. The sidekick 3 has the trackball just like the id.

There not all activated they still work without the sim card but just the stuff that doesent use wireless. I have all three because I had the 2 and 3 and I saw the 1 on ebay and it kinda like a antique. And also I use the 2.
