I reckon it has a timeline. At the beginning Oscar looks fresh and as much lively as she can be at a young age. Then aftwr the color is put on, she looks like she's been through lots of things in life and her smile is a proof of that.

i think there is no way to draw because art is supposed to express our feelings. i like that sophie doesn't say "How to" in her videos and just reveals her talent. i only watch these videos for fun to explore how people draw different ways but i do not outline mines for example. :D

I see you dirtied the tip of your "skin colour" for the Copic Markers. I suggest you replace it with a new tip otherwise the colour will be ruined and it won't look as good.

hey sophie,, deffinately know how annoying it is when your copis dry out... you can get re-fills for them (which you probably alreay know) and each bottle does 15 re-fills and you can get them fairly cheap :D hope i helped;; great art by the way! you never cease to amaze me ~<3

animes back then might have had really bad graphics when shown but it never sieze to impress me the traditional media used to promote them. i mean one of the older animes such as Full Moon Wo Sagashite holy crap! the anime had pretty good quality graphics but the manga and traditional works for it glitters like stars~ and that is why i love and inspired by traditional arts more than digital
