oh cmon ppl, i know coconut cream can is not the same with the real thug but some countries dont have coconut trees around lol, eg like canada lol.. but what she was showning us on the video is good enough for us canadians lol.. miss samoan foods. ok alu laia e ai ni au pagi susu....
I need to know how to make pani keke, help me, I'm stuck in Mangere, Auckland with no shop in sight and can't afford airplane ticket to Samoa everytime I get the bug for it I need to make it at home, HELP!!
it looks sooo much easier da way she does it bt when i tried it, it is soooo damn hard, what i wanna know is.....what do i mixed w/ da flour to make a dough?....n what kinda flour do i use?....could u please tell me.
@ feesili i too am use to the scrolled pani popo's and also used to the dough being made from scratch. Never the less, this may work for many people as well.
sole se ga'o , like the lady said, go to the store and buy the dough pre-made , but real cream with pegu strained from the tauaga is what makes it taste better not the cocnut cream in the can
i have NEVER seen Pagi Popo made like this lol..... our Pagi Popo are scrolls..... well thats how i was taught by my grandmother to make them anyways.... and MORE Coconut Cream is required
@Feesili yeah... same i was taught to make them in scrolls + making dough from scatch ! but i guess this is the easier way for the beginners or people who want to try our food.
I tried this receipe, and you know it's pretty good for a fast simple pagi popo receipe, but of course it's not the same as the homemade pagi popo! It's all guud! :)
wow some people are angry cuz there pani popo suck...bwahaha... and its not useless...its actually quite helpful..good job rhodesbread... and it taste hella bomb making it this way... you should try it..LOL
omg...i love pani popo!! this just made me so hungry!! im afameauli and i used to eat samoan food all the time as a kid in GA. ive always wanted to cook samoan style. this is a great way to teach people like me. fa'afetai!!
