He is 21; works, drives, and SKYDIVES. I really feared 20 years ago he would not be able to function this well in a hearing world. He "forces" people to deal with his deafness.
You have quite the advanced daughter! The typical child has 20-400 words by age 2 and can put them together in 2 word sentences between 18-24 months. Your daughter could say 5 words together by 12 months old. Wow - you are so lucky! Good for you and her :).

This is heartwarming ... it shows quite well how powerful that baby signing stuff really is. Amazing how smart they really are at that age.

I'm not sure I really get it. My daughter was saying all these words verbally at 12 months.
