Confusingly, it appears that one human impact on the climate the Antarctic ozone hole is currently compensating for another, global warming. If the ozone layer recovers over the decades as expected, the circular winds could weaken, resulting in rapid warming.
This raises the question of what is happening to Antarctica's ice sheets, which hold enough water to raise sea level by a catastrophic 61 metres, should it all melt.

Contrary to what you might expect, the third IPPC report predicted that global warming would most likely lead to a thickening of the ice sheet over the next century, with increased snowfall compensating for any melting cause by warming.

The poles on mars are melting for a completly different reason. Mar's wobbles more than the earth. The poles there currently get more direct sun light. GOOGLE is your friend not radio talk show hosts.

Whole Foods instead of Monsanto? Whole foods is industrialized organic farming. That's the only way they can deliver "organic food" at scale across the US. Support small local growers who don't ship organic compost long distances to meet labeling guidelines. If you can, be a localvore instead!

during the 1970's we had a mini ice age, the planet goes through natural cycles and if you were to actually look it up, we are going through a cooling off period. look at the graph for global temp. it gets really hot for about 50 to 100 years then cools off. and scientist have disproved the theory multiple times.

Carbon Dioxide is not a driver towards global warming. Carbon Dioxide gas disallows water to form clouds as readily, and water blocks 10x as much rays from leaving the atmosphere after they hit the earth.
The snow resorts in Nevada and Colorado are opening early. There was recently 15 inches of snow that arrived early, and the lower temperatures are going to allow ski resorts to see record profits.
Climate change is all about cycles, its a natural thing and has always happened.

4) We won't be able to replace all our energy needs within 10 years. We won't be able to replace our energy needs within 50 years. 100 years from now people will still be using oil, natural gas and coal for power. (Around 2-5% of the total energy used in 2108)

They sure do. I'm a big supporter of green energies for developed countries. I just don't like having that noble initiative be justifies by BS fairytales like the anthropogenic global warming hypothesis. I hate pollution, and that's enough to be for green energies, as a libertarian, since you can sue someone that pollutes your property. I had a lot of money invested in solar companies to prove my support. Not viable to the third world at the time, though.
