the marchand play was illegal because he duck below the knees in a clipping fashion and was trying to flip the other game over him. malkin is just ducking out of the way of lecaliver, after malkin has played the puck and is no longer in control. it most likely would not be interference or anything, but it is a borderline late hit as he clearly had gotten rid of the puck.
