I'm looking for a decent acoustic amp and the luchbox looks great. I practice at home a lot and don't wanna wake up the neighbors. Does it sound ok at lower volume levels? Thanks for the demos btw
I agree the action does seem much too low or sometimes when strings get really old the cores come loose from the windings. Or it could be bad finger pressure and placement. I think it would be the action though, sounds awful a bit like a jaw harp effect on guitar.
The problem with Billy' s guitar i think is the fact that he put light strings, i have a Larrivée parlor too and since it' s a smaller scale i put medium strings and it sound better ...
For my regular acoustics joined at the 14th frets ( a Larrivée L 10 and a Gibson J 45 ) i put lights strings .
On my 2 others parlors a Cort and a Simon & Patrick after trying medium strings i went back to the light gauge ...
Hello, I live in Brazil and want to buy one of these acoustic zt I saw in a store, but not tested. I play in bars and outdoor seating. Think you can use it to work? Thanks!
@300guitars I am basing my opinion on the fact that either your strings are brand new out of the package and/or/plus your action seems a tad low for acoustic work.
@VodooGuitarist Ok..I hear what you are saying but that does not necessarily make the guitar a piece of junk..right? It just may not be set up to your liking or maybe it's your speakers, etc. I appreciate and welcome all comments but this one seems to lack a point or have any value...if you like I could call you and discuss this further....? -Billy
@polaris20 Thanks for the kind words on my singin'.. Yes, both my guitar and vocal mic are going through the one ZT Lunchbox Acoustic. It is a GREAT little amp and really versatile. Sounded great with my ES175.... -Billy
