Whatever it is, it IS coming down, some just a Leeeetlle bit faster than others. Altitude is our friend boys & girls, and yes, that includes parachutes too!

Putting fuel outboard in wings always increases the chances of making a spin more stable and really hard to recover from, especialy with no tail, so you can't use opposite rudder. But I guess if your small wing needs to go 120 klicks per hour (which dosn't seem like much) you better keep the speed up. Without a tail empennage to control and stabilize the craft, spins seem likely after a stall.

Ofcouse, a tail would make it pretty hard to get in the back of anything less than a

C-130.
