A: broncos are 4wd. that means only the rear wheels are driven. h2 are awd, meaning all 4 wheels are driven so long as they all have traction. if the bronco isnt in 4wd your basically putting up a 2wd against a 4 4wd.

B: h2s are overweight. weight is the main factor in a tug of war. and weight isnt a good thing either.

The fact that the H2 can pull a vehicle that's 2000 Lbs lighter than itself does not mean it's a good vehicle, just a heavy one. I'd be very surprised if the Bronco won.

way too many variables on that, maybe the bornco wasnt running right, tires, miles on both of the trucks ect.
