Never saw this episode before,great cast.Does anyone do a psychotically charming leer better than Donald Sutherland!!Thanks for posting these..........
I guess Emma was on vacation,.....Then she went on Google earth and made a comeback. I grew up on this and it's just as campy as Batman w/o the "Biff Boom Pow" which I also like. I really enjoyed the styrofoam brick bouncing back onto Emma. And the ricochet sounds are rivaled only by Clint Eastwood spaghetti westerns. Ricochet Rabbit!
Reminiscent of Halloween, the part where the bad guy's body disappears. Ridiculous for both Steed and Emma to stand like idiots behind Sutherland in the line of Rampling's fire. What would have made it better was if she'd drawn her gun each time, that would have made the villain's actions in reaching for pistols on the table more believable and given her character a rousing ending to show her skills. Still excellent, nonetheless.
what are the names of the actors of the 2 bad guys, at 1:14? I used to watch this show when i was younger, and it's better than much of the garbage that's being made these days.
Thank you very much, Philippa, for posting these episodes from the Emma-era. To me, it's only pitiable that you didn't post '4x24 - A sense of history' - would you like to do this in addition?

is it just me? or does the bearded guy sitting down (next to the bald guy) watching the action unfold look a lot like actor Kiefer Sutherland?

@rkmugen oops... this is what happens when I neglect reading other people's comments. Thank you, @doctorterror69

@rkmugen That was Donald Sutherland, Kiefer's father.

@madmax8903
Glad I'm not the only one who noticed they would have been shot up by standing behind Sutherland.

The strange thing is...
This isn't one of my more favourite Avengers episodes, yet it's still 99% better than the tripe that is on British TV these days.
And I'm not an old fogey ! I'm in my late 20s, and 'discovered' the Avengers through re-runs on BBC4.
