  • wow the poles know how to use...poles

  • Hello. Does anyone know what is the tank type in the thirteenth second? What is the structure back on the vehicle?

  • Fuck america

  • @YuvnoBallserdik

Why don't you get your facts straight.

    Muslims don't drink.

Chechens were on home ground and prepared - Russians were sent in barely armed, rolling in parade formation because Yeltsin and his buddies were too drunk and retarded to know what they were doing.

It's no secret that Russia was not at it's best during the 90ies - it still isn't, but one step after another, right?

Like I said - was enough to beat US trained Georgia.

  • @Suyamu Russia beating Georgia is a bit like Mohammed Ali beating Dakota Fanning. Even if Dakota Fanning had years of the finest boxing training in the world, she's still fuckin' Dakota Fanning.

  • @RichardTaylor1800

you have to take into account how many resources were used for that win.

Russia pretty much didn't mobilize anything but local military.

Russia winning was the obvious outcome, I agree - but the interesting thing is that in terms of numbers, North Caucasus Military District's 58'th army deployed similar numbers as Georgia and the war was on Georgia's home turf.

Russia still achieved a decisive victory.

  • GEORGIA was armed and trained by USA - they were humiliated in 5 days.

There is a column of Georgian tanks 65 of them artillery vehicles of all kinds THEY even left USA Humvee behind and we know how much they love USA Humvee You can see in what kind of panic they were in. If you type in Russian they videotaped all the Georgian equipment left behind.

  • these are polish. not russians , the polish were part of the warsaw pact

  • 0.52 star 660??

  • Всем бояться))))

Это было в СССР, сейчас на такие масштабные учения денег нет и квалифицированных офицеров не хватает.

  • 2:13

Now that's some real artillery. Not that hollywood fiery shit bollocks.

  • @patrikasLTL Agree. F@#K Hollywood and their stupid fake effects.

  • PROPAGANDA!!!!!!

  • That is good color footage. Thanks for posting!

  • poland army

  • we got enough aniti tank missiles for that

  • finally some new scenes from this exercise and with original sound.

  • The SovietEmpire(aka the great paper tiger). Guys, this is a staged Warsaw pact training/recruiting video with cuts from training in the 78-80 yrs. As a young soldier 25 yr ago in bootcamp I remember watching this movie. Boots boots boots & a conscript military - history says FAIL.

  • Not Soviet army! This video is Eastern Germany Army - NNA DDR

  • Footage taken during "Shield 76" exercises at Drawsko training ground in Poland, 1976

  • to z polskich cwiczeń za czasu układu warszawskiego ale sa tu sami polacy

  • cool video..

  • it is rockets...old technology

  • what is that on the engine deck of the t-55 at 1.03.

  • @stormypetrel Bridging sections

  • @stormypetrel A mine clearing system. It fires a rockey, which tows a tube filled with explosive to blast a path through the minefield

  • Soviet Red Army

  • Like silverajskj said - it was a polish peoples army manevrous in the 70tees

  • its polish not russian forces -.-, that was in 1976 r manevrous name Shield 76, dont copy video -.- watch?v=cckRjkPLPQw

  • @silverajskj

maybe army is polish, but tanks probably are made in russia :)

  • @plikagalvis most tank (in Polish Army) made in poland, maybe designed in russia....

  • @silverajskj i agree that it is not russian army but not only polish it was exercises of all warsaw pact

  • Не вижу противодействия войск противника

  • Ни хуя себе, супер!

  • i can only imagine what it wuld have looked like..............on one side you have nato and on the other the warsaw pact....the evil empire. i dont if i should say this but i think if the russians would have attack on such a mass scale they could have gotten so far as to the french border............why...........the US only had so any troops and so did her allies while the soviets had millions of men included are her allies

  • Maybe if Apaches and A-10s can survive being crushed by Shilkas, Iglas and Strelas. Only stupid Syrians sent tanks without air cover when going against Israel.

  • i have a russian buddy and his father was a Shilka crewman, he said it was a primative machine with no need to surprised a battery powered cantrol system LOL. the apache and A-10 would of eaten those machines alive. How many a-10 or apaches from all the conflicts have been lost?

  • And what is a battery powered control system? What do you mean by that?

And Shilka was subsituted with Tunguska as a primary low level AA system. A much more potent machine.

  • how many a-10 or apache aircraft have been used against a foe as powerful as the Soviet?

  • Chechens ? Who is that ?

  • compared to the enemys loses, even like a shit army like Iraq had...

  • Go fuck yourself. And we crush Afganistan.

  • not only of that era, I'm afraid nothing has changed in their thinking even today

  • NATO didn't have the mobilised firepower to meet a mass Soviet invasion of West Europe which could have come at any time.

Up until the mid 70s the Soviet tanks were also superior to the Western tanks. When the T-72 appeared the only NATO tanks available to meet them were M-60 and Centurion.

The USSR quickly deployed 6 000 T-72 tanks in East Germany with oil reserves and entire armies.

Good luck NATO firing at them with a few hundred tanks in storage without preparedness.

  • @SoldatenArvidsjaur23

T-72s? Naw man. The Soviets deployed the better T-64 (and later the T-80) in forward-deployed forces. The T-72 would have been part of a second strategic echelon coming into the theater a few days after war's start or as reinforcements just before the start of war.

  • That attack looked brutal!

  • awesome, but it is more like an are-bombardement than actually targeting anything..

  • Iggy82xl, Grapevines in wine vineyards cost $2,000 each if we accidentally destoyed one or more during training. Manuever Damage.

  • my grandfather was in europe in 1981 1982 1983 1985...he says only one..i cant say you by words what i see there..24 hours of cold fear..and hundreds of trainings..every week sometimes something happends..every day every night..one not accured step..and hell open his gates

  • holy maneuver damage! the post environmental office would freak the fuck out if we did this. I bet the soviets didn't do risk assessments. How big is that impact area??

  • This is a propaganda film, and all of the Pact's training exercises were not like this. Yeah, maneuver damage, I remeber causing some - trees, curbs, and grape vines. We crossed the Rhine River on assualt pontoon barges on a nice sunny day, and luckily that we weren't allowed to swim it in our tracks like 'Mad Marvin' or BC wanted to do - tis one reason we called him 'Mad Marvin'. Thanx to MM, we had some fairly close mortar (and arty. maybe) friendly fire one day.

  • I was present at a military excercise last year at military training grounds near my town at it was very similar with this video. It had a lesser number of tanks, and no napalm pyrotechnics, but it was basicly the same. It involved 4 tanks, a bridge layer and 2 BMP-2s. They simulated an attack on a terrorist camp. It was awesome.

I also witnessed fly-bys by Galeb and Orao attack planes as well as a helicopter target practice.

  • Iggy82xl, Yeah, with no pyrotechnics because that costs a lot of money, and that is why this film is a propaganda film because all exercises were not like this. We did a lot of live firing back then, crossed the Rhine River on assault pontoon bridges with many boat engines on them, were gassed with CS Gas, etc. If German civil authorities found tress knocked down by our AFVs when training off base in German forests etc., we were fined $400 per tree, manuever damage it is called.

  • rocketshipstud2, BTW, I fooked-up and gave you 'thumbs down' for your comments due to my bad vision now-a-days. Sorry about that. I meant to give you thumbs up. Damn bifocals etc. Take care tanker.

  • rocketshipstud2 , yeah, good chance much of the Polish, Hungarian, Czech and east German forces would have gone on strike. Ever cross the Rhine River on assault pontoon sections?? We did in 1971 and drove to the Fulda gap area from Baumholder in ~ 3-days. It took that long due to German civilian traffic. We were going to swim the Rhine, but luckily NATO and the civilian authorities said no go becuase civilian barge and boat traffic would have had to have been halted.

  • handsome communist propaganda...most easr german troops would have defected to the real germany and would have killed every soviet russian commie in deutschland!

  • east german warpact t-55...communist conscript draftees ....defecting for free beer and strippers!...my old m-60a3tts tank can't shoot fellow germanic tribesmen-milwaukee wi usa

  • i hate the war, but have to admit the fact russian war machines were and are the best of the world.

  • WOW!! i have never seen enything like that! dude..that was an exercise!!!

  • this is an amphibious transport, if they would've made it any bigger it would've sunk.

    *sarcasm*

  • this is polish army in 1988

  • aaahhh

    good times :)

  • MOAR

  • kekekekekeke..RPG!..kekekekekekekekeke

  • eto ucheniya varshavskogo bloka.i oni npohodili ochen chasto. eto realnie ucheniya pokazivajushie stranam nato, chto im budet ochen ploho esli oni budut sebya ne horosho vesti.uspehov bit gordim ,chto vi ukrainec.

  • ыы украинское быдло

благо, с вами теперь натовцы будут нянькаться

  • That's not only russian forces.

I can recognize Polish, Czechoslovakian and Est German uniforms.

    Pejsatymario is right.

Masz rację Kolego - ale co te ignoranty o tym wiedzą....

  • to jest polskie wojsko a nie ruskie!

Czołgi są z jednostek polskich, most to też polskie auta no i żołnierze to Polacy w polskich mundurach wzór z lat 80.

  • Thses are obsolete tactics and the current Russian forces are still practising it. Had they faced American forces, they will be wiped out in a matter of hours.

  • Russia faced American (oh so modern tactics) trained Georgians last year and wiped them out in a matter of hours....

  • yeah fucken americans have been underestimating for years... they have been taught a great lesson in vietnam war, iraq war, and afgan war.

  • Know your place.

    Remember Vietnam?

or your super modern, F!#$%ing rifle M16 in the Vietnam jungles or Irak sands?

    F!#$%ing global terrorist!

  • Rember you tanks in iraq.

  • remember that those gay iraqis did not even try to move a single hand inside those t72s, since they know they are fucked with all of the countries that are against them? remember there were absolute no order in iraq army, they surrendered in mass by 1991? its because of them they lost the war, not because of the tank.

  • Remember Abrams in Iraq after being hit by old soviet RPGs???????? Duh!

  • Abrams tanks have been hit so many times by rpgs and out of 6 years only 80 of them where disabled. Hundreds of t-72 and t-80 tanks were destroyed by rpgs in the first and second cheyene wars.

  • T's were mainly destroyed due to the unpreparedness of Russians. That is what happens when you send tanks without any comprehensive support i.e. artillery etc. in the urban area. Each destroyed T tank in chechnya was hit by an average of 7 RPGs in the least protected area of the tank.

I am sure Abrams woouldn't have faired better than Russian Ts under similar conditions.

  • And exactly what lesson is that? It's easy to destroy Russian weapons with our weapons?

  • @Suyamu Yeah I'm American and I wish I was Russian. I plan on moving their once I learn the language which might take a long time.

  • @wcdfilms

    See ya!

  • @Suyamu Russia uses modern tactics and modern equipment. If the Warsaw Pact faced off with NATO, there would be alot of casualties, and most of them would be from the Warsaw Pact.

  • @AManNamedCM2 It'd deteriorate into a nuke war so casualties would be massive on both sides. Also It'd be NATO invading and not WARPAC

  • @Spetsnazovets America would never invade, and neither would your country. Your country would call it "peace keeping", like Afghanistan, Czechoslovakia, Hungary, East Germany, and every other conflict it has entered by itself. The US has only entered conflicts because of the UN, whereas your country would enter conflicts for the sake of GLORIOUS SOCIALIST, PROLETARIAT REVOLUTION.

  • @AManNamedCM2 LOL says a kid whos country orchestrated the war in Georgia in 08, started a war in Afghanistan after deliberately allowing 9/11 and invading Iraq on the WMD pretence which proved false. Then we can talk about the constant embargo or Iraq for water and medical supplies prior to that despite no indications whatsoever that Iraq had WMDs. In the name of "Freedom and Democracy" and the so-called "War on terror". US sponsored OBL, Taliban, Iraq and others, used them and now fights them.

  • @Spetsnazovets I'm from the UK, you wanker. At least learn that there are about Five first-world nations that speak English, as opposed to the Three second and third-world nations that speak Russian as their official language. Also, Iraq, which had a far larger army than any other nation in the Middle East at the time, was defeated in under 120 hours on the ground. You guys wish you could say the same about Georgia, which is also a shit-hole, Third-World country.

  • @AManNamedCM2 LOL then why does your profile state San Antonio TX? Thats in US AFAIK. From UK? Well British were Americas lapdogs for decades. British supported sanctions against Iraq that are direct causes of famines, lack of medical and water supplies and more. I suggest you should join military and spend some years there before talking trash. I did.

Georgia was smashed in 72 hours. They ran as soon as they saw Russians. Go learn some facts if you know where to look. Although I doubt that,

  • @Spetsnazovets You're a Russian living in Australia, you asshat. Australia is essentially America-lite, while Britain has it's own standards.

  • @AManNamedCM2 I suggest you actually spend some time in Australia rather then talk shit from your PC. I proved you wrong and you resort to typical keyboard warrior trash talk. Well keep going as I couldn't give a rats ass.

  • @Spetsnazovets You have yet to give me an argument that consists of anything other than Ad Hominems and "RUSSIA STRONG". I'm just returning to you what you've given me... A load of SHIT.

  • @Suyamu Georgia is nothing compared to russia, it was literally 100 v 1.

  • @EmergencyVehiclesAu

That's not true - why do people just pull numbers out of their asses without even trying to look it up?

Russia had only part of North Caucasus district army deployed.

I'll make it easy for you:

Georgia has used in Ossetia: 12000 Soldiers + 10000 reservists + special forces

    Russia: 10000 Soldiers + 2900 S.Ossetian Militia.

Georgia also has flown in 2000 from Iraq near the end.

Georgia outnumbered Russia - especially in the first days of war.

  • @Suyamu Look what the russians had at there hand though, Countless armoured vehicles, Troop transport, Modern Medical Facilities, Air support, Georgia had a rag tag army with 50 year old technology.

Russia also lost 64 soldiers in 10 days, americas lost 4,300 in 8 Years in Iraq, and 1,500 in Afghanistan making a total of 5,800 in 18 years,

thats 90 dead russians for every dead american.

  • @EmergencyVehiclesAu

Tanks were same on both sides, Georgia had transports like Otokar Cobras, humvees, mix of different artillery like DANA, Ukrainian anti air systems, Israeli UAVs.

Only thing Georgia was lacking was an airforce.

You'll find that the US lost up to 137 soldiers in some months - against a 3rd world country like Iraq - after months of preparation instead of 1 day.

Astan is different altogether, enemy has no army, no tech.

Georgians had real hospitals, the war was on their turf.

  • @EmergencyVehiclesAu

Georgia also had western communication equipment.

Georiga was a country with aspirations to join NATO - thus it's military has been modernized, equipped and trained to NATO standards, by NATO countries and allies - so please don't claim they've had a ragtag army with 50 year old equipment - that's just not true.

  • @Suyamu They were using 50 year old armour, barely any aircraft.

    fuck up.

  • @EmergencyVehiclesAu

They were using the same T-72 tanks as Russia - in fact Russia even had one dinosaur of a tank - a T-62 fielded...

  • First of all - it's not Russians.

Second,it's shot at least 25 years ago.

Third, US government always doing anything possible not to engage in war with Russia.

    Grow UP..

  • And exactly what is obsolete? Except for the equipment, obviously.

  • This is archival film fragment presents Warsaw Pact forces manevrous "Shield 76" that takes place on battle camp in Drawsko in 1976.

  • dvr123us -- Remember CCCP army was the strongest in 1988 ,,, huge Nuclear stockpiles of H-bombs and nukes ,, highest number of deliverable nukes ,, since 1945 ... 90.000 Tanks , and what NOT ..

  • -- THANK GOD there is a country which can STOP ,, USA devilocracy spread ./

  • aviomaster go master your life lol.

sorry but the tank is like the Knight of old.

reason why the U.S is starting to lower there Numbers,

Air power rules over armor any day.

A-10's made nice work of whole Iraqi armor units in 1991 an in 2003

  • the clip at 3.47 would make an A-10 pilots day. one big straif of the gau-8 would knock out or at least damage a load of 'em

  • I think this was made in the 60s'. The A-10 was not around... but the ZSU was!

If USSR attacked nato in the late 60's they would have won IMO.

  • @madeinlarne

...if they survived enemy air cover and the massive amounts of SAMs launched at them....

  • Numbers of troops is one thing.

The WP would never have kept up with the logistics in the end. Not with trainlines, supply sites and roads etc shot to hell.

And "allied" nations with barely motivated conscripted soldiers by Russias side.....

It would have been disastrous for the WP to attack.

All left would have been Europe in flames again and Russia as the #1 bad guy of the world and a vengeance target for a couple of centuries to come.

  • You think its old, and it might be old, but it is much more reliable than your unguaranteed american shit technology copied from Germans and Chinese. Be quiet please. These armies would have smoked the Nato alliance if cold war was to resume.. not so by the technology but rather large number of military equipment. You want to be so tough? Why dont you attack North Korea and see what happens, American military always picks on weaker countries, i.e. Iraq. These weapons are good.

  • old technology...

  • dick head it is a old war

  • lol.... fuckhead...

    obviously, read wut i wrote.

    "old technology..."

  • lol duh.

  • If to you is easier so to think - your business, and video is old doctrines:)

  • Maybe that is because the USA likes to go to war all the time?

  • U.S goes to war to keep world wars from happening since nobody else in the world tries to make a change other then sit on there ass an bitch about shit.

U.S gets shit down. any were any time all over the world in under 24 hours not even Russia can do that.

  • 'nobody else in the world tries to make a change'.

Nobody tries that since there is no need for a 'change'.

  • and a bunch of talibans with ak-47 are kiking your ass!

  • This is war maneurs of Warshaw Threaty Block .... near 1986 or 1987 year

  • Russian army 100%

  • Yes, with Polish Star-660 bridge layer trucks..

  • does anyone know what that weird weapon was fired at 1:10?

it seems to spiral upward and then fall down gently and make a huge explosion

  • Its UR-77 "Gorinich snake", UR means mine clearing plant. Its use for make gaps in enemy mine fields.

  • I think it's some sort of anti-mine contraption. It's ment to open up a path through a minefield

  • yeah I figured out what it is

it's called a mine clearing line charge

it's like a long chain of explosive charges on a wire that's fired across a minefield via a rocket and then when it lands it blows up clearing a safe path through the minefield

  • This is yhe East-German army and the polish army NUB!!!

  • nice.............

  • 1:03 - this T-55 has Polish marking on a turret.

  • kiling2,,,,,,,,,just kiling

  • This is definately polish army as one of the armored vehicles has polish checkboard symbol on turret, all of equipment used is standard issue polish and just look at uniforms

  • These are not russians. Probably DDR, maybe Polish

  • dud they're russian cuz there usin russian tanks weapons and bombs

  • The weapons determine the soldiers nationality?

So that means that some of the Chinese are Russian, the Iranians are Russian; hell, I guess any militant motherfucker what wields an AK is a Russian.

That means that the USA destroyed a lot of Russians back in the first Gulf War.

  • Its... DDR NVA???

  • It is the USSR army training

  • Just look at the symbols on the tanks!

This is polish army from 1960-70.

  • This is movie from Polish army exercise....Why I claim that: Because I saw on the movie Polish truck Star 266. They were used only! by polsih army this time.

  • yeah tanks from russia but transporters from Czech republics

its pPOlish army 35 years ago

  • Its warsaw pact army!

  • this is military Manevrs polish army and "Warsaw treaty states" in 70s

  • What year is this?

  • some time back in the 1960's 70's .

  • Russians Tanks!!!

  • its Polish people army in commiunist time

  • Yea, this is Polish Army ...

  • WTF are they attacking!the ground?

  • bush isnt a christian , hes a hypocrit and a communist

  • THIS IS POLISH ARMY !!

  • Republikkkans of the Bush admin, created the world order with hatred towards ethnics and christianity.

  • isnt bush himself a christian

  • Id like to see those same fk heads that fkd with the children and the others fk with a major country that can fight back with equal force.... then see how hero they are and baddass they are. when it comes to war crimes against humanity and disgracin our country!

  • Fuck Lech "Leech" Kaczyński !

  • Lech Kaczyński, nasz kochany prezio-

    NIECH ŻYJEEEEEEEE!!!!!!

  • didn't know that the russians had those same explosive hoses/rockets

  • Can U.S tanks swim like theis?

  • Nope, I don´t think any modern MBT can actually swim. That´s something you can´t do with a 60-tom-AFV. Some IFV´s and recon vehicles can do, though. Deep fording with a snorkel is possiblefor Main Battle Tanks, too. (Basically, the tank will drive along the river ground and have the snorkel up at the surface to suply crew and engine with air.

  • Mighty warsaw Pact!

  • EPIC!!!

  • This is POLAND AND RUSSIAN !!

  • This is PL and Czechoslovakia. The OT-64 SKOT was used only by Poland and Czechoslovakia.

  • what your is this

  • hey actually those are pictures of Peoples' Army of Poland ( but i think few soldiers are from GDR )

  • its the ddr

  • faggot this crap as you call it was used during the period 1960-70! If today's Russian tanks attack they will маму натовскую выебают!

T-62 and 64 is not T-80 or T-90! and those IFVs cannot be compared with BMP-3M or BTRs! wake up!

  • FIRE FOR EFFECT!

  • this is Polish Army !!!!

  • no, its the terrorist sovjet and the rest of the warszawa pacts armies controlled by SSSR, polish army didnt exist, polish army was sovjet army

  • Military manouvers in 1968 : hahaha this is Mars attac.
