Great Video, I love the Smiths, I dig Morrissey voice, Johnny Marr is a fantastic musician. Johnny Marr went off to do some great stuff. He played, wrote, produced, and/or toured in bands like: Electronic, Pretenders, Bryan Ferry, Simple Minds, The The, Modest Mouse, Beck, Everything But The Girl, Kraftwerk, Pet Shop Boys, Oasis, 7 Worlds Collide, Cult, Talking Heads...and the list goes on. The book "Morrissey & Marr" (The Severed Alliance) by Johnny Rogan is a must read!!! Take care man.
@CollectorOfMusic Morrissey's voice and Marr's guitar are a reason why they are one of my favorite groups! And yes all of the bands he has played in are excellent. I love his work with The The. What did he do with EBTG? I haven't read that one yet. I am currently reading Mozipedia. It's great as well.
@Blueecm Johnny Marr played harmonica on some songs on EBTG's first album, i dont know to much about that album except, it was released in UK as 'Eden' and in the US as 'EBTG', and that the UK & US tracks very from eachother, so im not sure if Johnny Marr was on the UK or the US release, or both. i'm going to have to check into it
Awesome Smiths/Morrissey vinyl! We got a lot of Smiths/Moz LPs but never got any of the singles. They look really cool and maybe one day I'll collect them too.
Those prints are cool, I always enjoy those, great for hanging up.
Very nice Smiths pieces Joey. Those are called record flats. What Difference Does it Make is a nice find. Back To The Old House version off of Hateful Of Hollow is fantastic. I love the Golden Lights version that they do off of Ask. I just picked up the clear vinyl Ask 12". Did you ever see my Smiths and Morrissey videos? Check them out sometime because I think you may like them. Glad to see another big fan in the VC. I saw the Smiths during the 1986 tour at Great Woods~
@Paneeks1960 The Hatful Back to the Old House is beautiful! One of my favorites. I haven't seen the clear version of Ask. What is on that one. And yes, I remember your older Smiths/Morrissey video. Very cool! I wish I could have seen them back in the day!
Buying what you're really interested in is the most fun. Sounds like it's about time you got some Smiths/Morrissey vinyl in your collection. Some great ones to start with! 'What Difference Does it Make' is one of my favorites by them.
Nice finds, I love the "Ask" single, great song. Golden lights isn't too bad of a song, not my fav but again I don't hate it.. I actually don't have any Smiths singles in my collection though I'd love to add some at some point.. There's definitely a handful of Smiths singles I would love to have. Which of course would include a lot of the material from Louder Than Bombs.. such as "Shoplifters of the World Unite", "Panic" of course, two of my favorite tracks off that compilation.
@fatbackfunk I am working on getting every Smith single. Panic will probably be next since my store has a copy of it. Yeah Golden Lights isn't as bad as everyone says! Thanks for watching commenting.
@fatbackfunk it does look tremendous, but here in Canada, its gonna be nigh on $400. But everything the Smiths released on cd and vinyl plus 25 7"s is totally worth it.
Interesting Drug is one of my favorite Moz singles because of the b sides, brilliant. Stop me... is one of the hardest Smiths Singles to find, I don't think it was released at all in the UK. Back to the old house is one of my favourite Smiths cuts too, as well as Well I Wonder, I definitely know what you mean. Cool stuff, thanks for sharing.
@djcorduroy Thanks man. Yeah Interesting Drug is so good. Have you ever seen the laser etched version of it? I had no idea about the rarity of Stop Me...
@Blueecm I saw the laser etched version of Interesting Drug only once before while I was in Brussels, Belgium. I didn't really know anything about it so I passed it up. Stop me is definitely a catch, most of the ones you see on the internet for sale are Dutch imports and the like.

@djcorduroy One of the stores I go to has the etched version but it is a little bit more expensive than other records so I passed on it.
