I think this song is about someone who thinks it's best if they leave them, yet they can't get away. I'll need to think harder about this to find a deeper meaning, but I swear out of every cliche song about this kind of thing, Thriving Ivory does it the right way, the best, and deserve WAYYYY more recognition for it!!

@grricantgetaname I could be wrong, but my interpretation is that it's about a guy who is trying to save his relationship with his wife/GF. He cares about her too much to let her go, and will stand beside her though anything, even though she has hurt him in the past. I actually think this whole album is about this, him trying to guide her though her thoughts and emotions and back to him, though sadly, it doesn't work, as they split up at the end as seen in Motocade, and his grief in Come Novembr

I love Thriving Ivory and I happen to agree they are truly an underrated talent in the era of Auto-tune and synthesizers and rap beats. They deserve a lot more airplay than they get.
