@FE33AR1 Cheap car isn't necessarily bad. It's low priced and better value. Hyundai gives 100,000 mile powertrain warranty. So, it will last for a long time.
People need to start taking Hyundai seriously, some of their recent cars are fantastic and easily compete (and in some ways, surpass) with Ford, Honda, Mazda, and what have you. Shit, even Bentley needs to start taking Hyundai seriously.

I am a Ford guy and I worked at many dealerships, I.e. (ford, Jaguar, audi, vw, Porsche, hyunday , Suzuki) and hyunday has the best warranty. The cars would only come in for cosmetic stuff and hyundai covers everything..even light bulbs
no way in hell i'd pay 70k for a hyundai, it maybe bang for the buck. But that's it, materials in german competitors are better, a CRAP TON more technology, and they look nicer. Also luxury isn't about bang for the buck it never was. It's about living the life regardless of the cost.

I can see the difference in the build quality, material quality, and the engineering. Bentley is part of the VAG after all, plus I am willing to bet that the Mulsanne drives better and is much faster.

On paper the Hyundai should win this. Trouble is it's not in the Bentley's league. The Hyundai is still all about value for money where the Bentley is about pure luxury and performance regardless of the cost. It's like comparing an all you can eat buffet with a top restaurant. There's still the same food but the experience is nothing like.

@reynian1 Well that was a smart move on your behalf. I drove an E90 325i and found the steering to be light, ride nice, handle nice and have that solid overall feeling. Only downside to it was that the interior was cramped and the seats were as hard as a rock, they weren't the comfort seats BMW offers as an option.
@7477238 you found the bmw's steering to be light? thats pretty impressive i must say. i test drove a 2008 bmw 335i and at high speeds and on the highway, i agree that the steering has an advantage, but in the city, it became quite bothersome. also when i braked slowly, it also made squeals, which was another reason i did not buy it.

I'm sure the Equus is a wonderful car. But come on. It's like comparing a $200,000 3,000 sq ft home in Compton, to a $2million 3,000 sq ft home in Beverly Hills. Yes, the houses may have the same size, but the location makes a big, big difference. Same goes with a Hyundai brand vs a Bentley.

This is a joke... you cant compare a hyundai to a Bentley. You can look at similar features of both cars (Which i guess is the point of this video) but ultimately the craftsmanship, quality, and soul that's built into every detail of the Bentley is completely unparalleled. Its not about the number of features, its about the quality of the features and really comes down to quality vs. quantity.

There is more to luxury than just slapping a bunch of technology in the back. When you compare the quality of the leather, the details in the stitching and the engine as well as beauty and design the Bentley is just far superior. If I am going to hire a full time driver to drive me around, I dont think i'm going to go out and buy the cheapest car on the market. spend your 70 grand on a 5 series(or a merc/audi/caddy/lexus if thats your thing.) and drive yourself around in a car that is going to be much more fun to drive.

Of the top of my head, 5 series beemer, merc e-class, Id even take a taurus SHO over this thing, for 20 grand less, with better economy, awd, more power, and still message and a/c seats

But I DO admit that the Equus is a really nice and well equipped car for the money, because I sat in one at the auto show. On paper the Hyundai should win this. Trouble is it's not in the Bentley's league. The Hyundai is still all about value for money where the Bentley is about pure luxury and performance regardless of the cost. It's like comparing an all you can eat buffet with a top restaurant. @reynian1 Well that was a smart move on your behalf. I drove an E90 325i and found the steering to be light, ride nice, handle nice and have that solid overall feeling. Only downside to it was that the interior was cramped and the seats were as hard as a rock, they weren't the comfort seats BMW offers as an option.

You can look at similar features of both cars (Which i guess is the point of this video) but ultimately the craftsmanship, quality, and soul that's built into every detail of the Bentley is completely unparalleled. There is more to luxury than just slapping a bunch of technology in the back. When you compare the quality of the leather, the details in the stitching and the engine as well as beauty and design the Bentley is just far superior. For example, the wood on a bentley is just so much more carefully crafted: watch?v=mQX_EpmGtmk While yes, part of it is the the badge that drives up the price (but with the badge comes a history and heritage of luxury cars that the Hyundai brand just doesn't have)
