The pros ALWAYS take a sound feed off of the sound system (mix board) at the venue, OR a recorded mix-feed from a recording truck parked somewhere outside of the arena that mixes the performances, then sends that mixed feed to the tape machines/cameras. (like sports) Problem solved! If this performance was recorded in the truck, it would've sounded crystal clear, and properly mixed, with a little audience mixed-in for live touch.
