  • Awesome!

  • all that to play guitar......... no thanks.

  • someone just played halloween theme song

  • wow, a lot of artist are using behringer eqs...i´m really surprised

  • What kind of overdrive pedal was that?

  • Klon Centaur. about 250 bucks. handmade in Siberia.

  • @state138champ06 or 1000 on ebay. haha

  • You know, you get it quicker by paying attention and looking back...

  • I couldn't understand what he was saying.

  • ive been to a creed show and his rig is huge they have to use rolling carts to transport all his stuff

  • can anyone tell the settings on the bogner

    ubershaw

  • Ok so.....Bass 10, Treble to 6, Mids to 4, Gain on 6, Presence on 3 1/2 Got It!!! Tremonti tone is mine!!!!!!

  • on his fender, bass 9 mid 5 treb 7 rev 4 3/4 vol 3 1/2. the rest i couldnt clearly read. it was said on the tremonti fanpage years ago that he would, when with creed, would have bass 7 mid 5 and treble 9

  • Am I the only one who's watched this video dozens of times, and still hasn't understood why the Halloween theme song plays while Mark is talking about his Bogner?

  • I think it's someones ring tone on their phone.

  • If it is, the timing fits pretty well with his 'button pushing' :-P

  • sounds like somebody's cellphone

  • I used to play on a line 6 with real similar settings, with a good set of fx pedals solid cables and good mixing equipment including a nice eq you can really get it to sound great.

  • I wish that I was in your arms like that guitar ;) :))))

    love,

    Azra

  • gain 6?! and it sounds so heavy? fucking cool!

  • This is so crazy! Imagine what it's like to have to transport all of this!

  • that's freakin' amazing.. you almost have to be a sound engineer yourself I guess. I guess I agree, cause I am always messing with my sound - unfortunately I don't have all that equipment.

  • clever rig, i like the thought of the fender tube amps with mesa cabs15 inch spkrs. ..

  • i agree, the tone is awesome! you can ask him how they do it on the fret12 website. he will answer the questions himself via web-cam! take a look, its definitely worth the time!

  • I'm sorry, Drummer Dude, but I've been there...the tone is quite good! Not having really enjoyed a concert in about a dozen years because of poor toning...that and losing the upper-most frequencies in my hearing, I must say his set up was quite refreshing in person.

  • thats alot of equipment. From what I've heard live and seen on youtube, his tone is not that great.

  • That Klon pedal is 150 bucks less then I spend on my Fender Heavy Metal Stratocaster...

    Nice setup though!

  • Geez. Too much stuff.

  • You should see John Petrucci's rig.

  • Haha I've seen it. Kinda crazy how much stuff these guys need. Just plug in an play!

  • haloween theme song comes on funny

  • cellphone

  • this is his old rig. he no longer uses those 15" cabinets or the centaur or the tube screamer. his whole rig is almost different.

  • What's that distortion pedal called at the beginning,, clan? or something like that, can anyone spell it for me if they know it?

  • same with u dude...

  • the pedal is called Centaur, but the company is called... Clan... i guess

  • the KLON CENTAUR

  • is there such thing as wireless wah pedal? jusk askin'

  • don't really think so, what you can do, is hook it up to a wireless system, like the one famous people use on stage plugged to their guitar, but instead of using it on the guitar, you plug it to the wah

  • No, but with a crybaby rack wah, you can hook up 6 wah controllers to it and spread them. The way tremonti uses three different morleys spread out, i would guess he is using something to buffer the signal so there is no tone loss with those really long cable runs

  • how is this not tremonti, lol

  • tremonti? mostlikely a shit load x20

  • wow hes got an amazing rig.

  • Yes it is an amazing rig. I guess when you're an A list musician with his budget, you can go BIG with your rig. I personally like Nuno Bettencourt's setup. Really simple but effectively great sounding.

  • Mark really is really a master of tone, he knows exactly what sound is needed to accompany the nature of the song, which is part of why the songs are so damn good.

  • lol listen to the beginning, he says 'hello Im mark Tremonti'.

  • lol yaaaaaaaaa!! lol lyk who doesnt noe he is!!!

  • scott stapp??!! r u out of your mind. that is 100% mark tremonti dude..check your facts.

  • ur a queer

  • scotts a queer cuz he was an alc, mark isnt i was kidding

  • err... what's that pedalboard he mentiones at the beggining? BRADSHAW? if anyone knows what EXACTLY is that in you can plz PM me or reply this?

    tnx guys

  • Hi, can anyone tell me whats that silver stomp box he uses on his pedal rig...I can seem to fd that anywhere...

  • klon sentar

  • It's a Klon Centaur. So Nikkro1 was right, but wrong spelling :)

  • I think the Klon Centaur pedal really nails his solo sound. Its a little pricey but I wouldn't mind scooping one up and trying it out one day.

  • Yeah, it really cuts through the mix. Extremely strong tone and I love it :D hehe

  • I agree with petejt..... ese pinche maricon ..escucha ese guay, se cree muy chingon....that's he's mark....mark-ass buster!!

  • Good God that Rig is insane....if I saw it, i'd be like..so where the fuck does the guitar lead go, he's got like 3 heads!

  • Dude's got THREE wah pedals around the stage???I wonder how he hooks em up!!I really want a mark tremonti power wah!

  • i dont get it so does he have the both heads on the go with his a/b switch

  • I just came in my pants

  • lol crap settings shit tone? COME ON YOU FUCKING LOSER HIS TONE IS ABSOLUTE KILLER

  • BEHRINGER? What? I didnt know the big guys used BEHRINGER!

  • yeah :D pretty cheap :P when i see behriner i go: ''we'll leave that there'' i guess i'll have a second look now.

i was also surprised when my uncle (pro basist) bought a behringer amp :S

  • AKA Jayne Cobb. C'mon he looks like Jayne from Firefly

  • hahaha, he does!

  • MAN YOU'RE AMAZING THANKS!! FOR ALL!!! LOVE YOUR MUSIC n you look like one of the coolest n nice guys ever!

  • MAN YOU'RE AMAZING THANKS!! FOR ALL!!! LOVE YOUR MUSIC n you look like one of the coolest n nice guys ever!

  • wow he has a LOT of preamps hahahah but i love how he has wah pedals all over the stage.

for me i'd just go with a line 6 pod xt (the rack one, i think its called pro) a mesa boogie power amp and hook it up to the line 6 floorboard and 2 marshall cabs. all the effects and tone you need =]

otherwise i'd go with the 2 marshall jcm 800 half stacks, a mark tremonti wah, and a digitech bad monkey over drive.

  • I feel like i'm watching a Petrucci rig tour all over again...

  • Can you imagine how much all of this costs? Sweet Jesus!

  • he probably has them together with the combos, i have mine that way.

  • awesome

  • Wicked video thanks, to bad he didn't get into the guitars :D PRS's are a dream

  • I agree with you 110%!! PRS are one of the BEST guitars makers in the business. I wish he would make a second video outlining the guitars!

  • :D nice man, I agree on all counts, Trimonto even has 2 models with PRS (A normal, and a lower end SE) so I'm sure PRS would love for him to make that video. Gotta say though although PRS is the best feeling neck ever for me, its not the fastest. You ever play a Jackson soloist?

  • if its not the fastest how can it be the best feeling? do you mean thinnest? i tend to find more comfortable necks more important.

like i've had an ibanez for a while and its got one of the thinnest necks imaginable, but i picked up a PRS copy the other day, its got a fatter neck, but because its more comfortable i played about twice as fast as usual

  • I get it, there is more to a fast neck then just being thin, did the PRS copy you picked up have Jumbo fret, I find they make you go mush faster, I also find that the finish on the neck makes a difference for me as well. BTW I recently had the chance to play what I consider the best guitar in the world, Don't miss an opportunity to play a Parker Fly its fast, it's comfortable, it's super light and it's full of clever patented features that you can't find on other guitars.

  • the parker fly has a really narrow headstock, which makes the weight really unusually distributed to the right. i am not used to that but yes, it is a great guitar. um i find oiled necks are a lot faster than painted necks.

  • Agree with you there too, It's all these things that make my love the Jackson. Which Ibanez do you have an RG? Because I think the RG Wizard II is an incredible neck, I went looking to buy one and I picked up the Jackson on my way over to the Ibanez part of the store and It was a really close race.

  • I have the GRG, its like an RG but the neck is 1mm thicker and it has powersound pickups. yeah jacksons do have nice necks too but i find they're a bit too flat

  • wow im braindead.

  • Whats ur dream rig? Mines probably just 2 marshall half stacks. Zakk wylde overdrive, tremonti morely wah, Boss DD3 delay pedal, Digitech Whammy pedal, and a rockton Banchee

  • his sound live is HUGE.

  • interesting rig. would like to know how the amp heads in the rack are wired up in relation to the fender combos out front. does anyone think he switches between the amps individually or are the heads outputs summed together using the combos as stereo slaves?

  • Can sum1 plz tell me what tha hell amp racks and stuff actully do?

  • Dude, rack stuff is just a big version of stomp boxes...they are more elaborate so you can go farther...

  • If I had this amount of money I'd love a rig like this, except I'd probably be worrying about all those pedals and not what I was playing.. hmm. I'd probably stick to a big vox amp, and a switch pedal, yeah thats nice :)

  • tremonti is a good guitar player and i'm not surprised he do everything to peserve his tone. The markings all over the amps and effects aren't weird.Anyway, everytime he play's a show he's set up fast cause he got everything under control. That's the sign of a true professional :)

  • Coolio. I see a Klon.

  • i'd love to have all of that stuff man...awesome equipment he has...hoping to get a mesa amp sometime

  • sweet,,now if i could just get the money to buy all those sruff

  • ok, prs you need to get your info straight. Im not trying to be a prick but Tremonti does not use "Chorus" effect. Yes he uses Delay, destortion and wah but not Chorus. He said "its doesn't sound natural" thats why he doesnt use it. His sound that you might get confused with "chorus" is a combination with Reverb and delay.

  • he has used chorus before, and is using it again. as every pro musician does, he changes equipment and tone style often.

  • no he isn't, i have talked to him about it...it's a church-like reverb setting with some delay mixed in, and fender twins sound awesome

  • he is keeping it simple. the only pedals he is really using is a delay, chorus, distortion and wah, the big pedal is just a switching board to switch between amps. It is simple and effective

  • well guitarthroat, you are right to some extent. But pedals do suck tone too. The best solution would be to have pedals hooked up to a looper and have a pedalboard like Mike Tremonti has to make them on and off with one pedal. Pedal dancing is not everyone's cup of tea. To change from dirty to clean with chorus and delay you have to step 3 times or sth. It's just pain the arse

  • This is his old rig, he still uses some of the same stuff such as the mesa trpl rect. but yeah you can find at marktremont dot net

  • Even though he is not using the same setup with Alter Bridge I still worship the ground Mark Tremonti walks on! Being a guitarist I have always loved what he can do on records! Live performances are truly amazing BUT the tone he has there is not quite the same as on the records. Of course I know you can never 100% replicate what you record on albums but I don´t know...Live is just more "dirty" than on the records!

  • But his setup is truly inspiring! I just ordered my Triple Rectifier 2 days ago and I am now saving up for a 69 Re-Issue Fender Twin. Why? Because he is not bullshitting when he says it´s the cleanest tone you can ever find! Keep up the great work Mark!!!

  • It can get pretty confusing with all that technical stuff. Best to just leave it at "guitar plugged straight into a Marshall with everything set to 11"

  • I agree, Keep it simple...All the digital bullshit looks impressive, but makes the guitar sound like a droid. I love how everyone is so sensitive about opinions on here. They should get a fucking life....

  • holy shit, I never thought players could have such a big rig lol, it's amazing. btw, Alter bridge ROCKS!

  • Bradshaw tone sucker rig. These guys get a few hundred thousand bucks and have no idea what real tone is. All the refrigerator rack bullshit doesn't allow the guitar to even come through...Learn from the mistakes of guys like George Lynch in the 80's..They'll tell you..Stomp boxes into a Half-stack, best formula ever...

  • piss off.

  • some idiot i met the other day calls mesas mesa boogies, but all the rectifiers "mesa engineering" its still mesa boogie lol, idiot

  • he plays better songs and solos with alter bridge then he did with creed

  • hahaahaahah NASA

  • Anybody know what shoes those are? They look like some tight kicks. And his rig is unbelievable as well. I want that Mesa Triple Recto with any of those cabs. XD

  • I'd say his shoes are Adidas Superstars.

  • HOLY SHIT! thats a lot of shit! my rig: amp, wah pedal, Boss ME-50, guitar. his rig: not even worth listing the stuff cuz there is too much.

  • lol I kno what ya mean, my rig is marshall 15DFX-Boss superoverdrive-tremonti wah-guitar

  • I thought he used Krank amps. I played through a Krank Revolution half stack, and it sounded thicker than any Triple Rectifier I've ever played or heard.

  • lol, yuo can say what you want about him, but he sure knows his specs! :P

  • u rule tremonti!!!!

  • fuckin Xpensive

  • god, if i ever win the lottery this guy is coming out shopping with me

  • nice man...

  • not to complicated then lol

  • its like fucking NASA

  • Some good equipments but to be honest I'm not a big fan of his tones.

  • ajajá!!

    xD

    you are so cute MARK!
