A better way to do this is to transfer a card to the top when the hands are behind the back,or under the table,then show the back of another plucked from the pack that is openly put in the pocket,then to palm the top card whilst squaring up the deck dipping the hand into same pocket,retaining and producing it.

I don't get it, he shows the example that the spectator thinks of eight, but how do u know how to count to that number of cards the spectator was thinking of if u don't even know what they r thinkin?

ok :D This is a bit stupid to me. Why dont you just take the 8th card behind your back, Count it without looking. Theres no point because anybody could take the 8th or what ever the opponent choses behind your back. Please tell me. Because I didnt really get this idea still your explanation was very good..

As much as I find it useful to learn card tricks on Youtube. I also find it disgusting that magicians would reveal their magic tricks to the whole world. It completely breaks the magicians code.

@AlexGazmararian It may be "digusting" but also remember that if no one revealed card tricks then those tricks would die when the creator died. Basically only one generation would know the tricks and that would be the end of it. A lot of tricks today are built off of old ones.
