Other way around. WarCraft started as a Warhammer game but Games Workshop (the guys that made Warhammer and own the IP) didn't like where Blizzard was going, so they pulled the IP. Blizzard decided to change the game a bit and make it into something their own.
But didnt Warcraft Come Out First So that means whatever they said they lied to you because me i dont play any of theese games but the only one i hear having most success is WarCraft It was first out but idk if that would make a difference :P
The WarCraft universe is heavily heavily heavily based on the Warhammer universe. Warhammer has been around for nearly 26 years, mainly exists as a tabletop game (Stuff like D&D), has HUNDREDS of novels, has some of the best concept art ever, and established "the Orc look", "the Elf look", etc. Warhammer added a LOT to fantasy. LOTR and D&D never provided a visual aspect, Warhammer did.
Warcraft took fundemental ideas from warhammer with a different story line but the layout and design of the actual game is basically the same as the one that blizzard designed and made so popular. From what I played of warhammer it's got more interesting professions, lame quests but cool gameplay and better teamplay (if you ever manage to find someone to group with you)
my own note though, use charge AND sprint. When chasing use sprint, then charge and you could've got that engi for example. Or at the start, use sprint then charge (havent tried but, charge;sprint;charge maybe even) so you can get to the 2nd objective first, keep order occupied for as long as possible until backup arrives.

lotr no .. you will have problems ,, if you turn everything off .. which will look like shit .. you might have a chance .. but why would you even want to play the game on the lowest setting ..looks like shit on the lowest setting .. cant even see that many spell effects
dude, go to google and type canirunit and click the first one, it shows EXACTLY where your computer is at between the ranks "minimum" and "fast", and it shows if your video card, ram, ect passes minimum
what is your system specs dude? i thought my computer was fairly good but i played warhammer and its really not up to standards, choppy here and there, small freezes, (large ones in rvr) and just general unimpressive framerate with no option for vertical synch wich i hate. my specs are Amd athlon 64 dual core 4200+, 2Gb ddr Ram, Ati radeon x1950xtx 512 mb video card. got any tips other than buy a new comp? :P not that i dont want to i just dont have a job atm just finished school and im broke xD
I have an AMD X2 5200+, 2 gigs of DDR2-667, and an 8800 GT. I've had this system for close to a year and haven't had to upgrade, WAR might just push me to the E8400/4870 rig I was looking at to build. But, saving up for a car is a huge burden to carry.

I suppose that's just social stereotypes talking, so don't take offense, but yeah. It'd be nice if we could hear a little music in the background, or some game sounds int he background of you talking.
