@justKev65: He does remind me of a lot of James Taylor on this song as well, and both of them are awesome musicians. I'm not sure if you know, but James Taylor also has Scottish ancestry.
Hi Dougie, since I attended your concert in the HDK Berlin with Alan Roberts after touring Scotland one week before (in 1976?) I still carry you and your beautiful music in my heart and still play the songs of the Caledonia Album in my quiet hours. Wishes from Ian Melrose also! Thanks for givin us that peaceful and beautiful music
I love this new channel and Big huge fan of Dougie Maclean especially the song called READY FOR THE STORM. I love that the best! I am also a huge fan of Ted Christopher!! Scots know how to sing and make music!!! I may be biased lol.
I love Dougie ... what wonderful guitar work, so varied and dynamic. Is this a new song for him? I've heard him many times in concert and have his CD's, but have never heard this one before.
Lovely, as usual. First saw Dougie on "The American Music Shop" television show from Vanderbilt University in Nashville performing "Until We Meet Again" and "Caledonia" with Kathy Mattea.
Beautiful backdrop and great-sounding guitar. Kudos to whoever built it.
Thank you so much for adding these. I was a big fan before I went to Scotland this summer, and was an even bigger fan after. There are so many more songs I would love to see in this format posted.
Since I saw Dougie at a charming theater in Rhode Island recently, I can't get enough. His words and music touch the human spirit in a magical way. Thanks for posting; I need more!
I agree, I saw him at the Vancouver Folk Festival, it was my introduction to him, and I basically cried through every concert he did. I find his music so touching and beautiful.
Thanks Dougie for showing the world your undoubted brilliance.Enjoyed meeting you a couple of times at Queens Hall and thoroughly enjoyed buying you a pint on those occassions.Only joking, you are a total genius and I look forward to getting you a pint again in the near future.
My first experience of Dougie's mastery was in a tiny village hall in Gloucestershire 15-20 years ago. His music has been with me ever since. A truly wonderful and inspirational musician and songwriter.
He can make you feel Scotland your home although it is not. Thank you Dougie

Just saw Dougie last Friday in St. Pete, FLA, brilliant performance as usual. Have never seen a bad Dougie concert, always gives his all.
Backdrop in video is his kitchen at home, love the AGA stove. The guitar a MOON GUITAR, made by Jimmy Moon of Glasgow, and it does sound oh so sweet!

Thanks Dougie, for these recent posts - like a private little at home concert for those of us out here who've loved your music for so long.
