I just went to Coney Island (both the aquarium and the amusement parks) today and I gotta say: Awesome. Don't you just love amusement parks especially when they're so colorful and exuberant and a part of your childhood? It made my otherwise boring and depressing summer a rather spectacular one for a day.

I personaly think that if it had an entrance fee it would be better because people only ride a few rides now a days because you have to pay per ride and each ride is like 10$ per person i believe . However if it had an entrance fee it would b better because you would be able to ride more rides as many times as you want.

Once they start charging $40 and $50 entrance fees, it'll never be the same...might as well go to Six Flags after that. The thing about Coney Island is it's history. If they destroy that history with Condos and convention centers, they destroy the "heart" of Coney Island. If they revitalize, I hope they do so with an eye to keeping the history and feel of the place alive.

Wooww! It had been a big goal for me this year to go to Coney Island before the summer ended and I did. I'm glad I did too. I got to ride the cyclone and the ride was way too fun. I got on all the rides. Played almost every game. I can't believe there gonna close it down. I loved it. Dont get me wrong, all the new stuff looks nice and everything but its taking away the feel of coney island.. not only that, its probably gonna cost money to get in and tickets will be probably way more expensive :/

i think the renovation is good. i've been going to coney island since i was younger. I just hope a lot of the landmark attractions like the Wonder Wheel, Cyclone and Parachute jump are there which i hear they will be.
