What a wonderful song...every time even 800 th it brings out tears.....what a pity never seen the CLIP.......any lucky fellow has seen the film...clip....
What a Gem of a song! Right up there with 'Bachpanki Muhabbat ko' or 'Preetam Meri Duniyame' or 'Apana Pata Bata De' or 'O Jane Wale Mud Ke Jara Dekh Te Jana' or ......
Excellent combination of Madan Mohan & Lata Ji. A rare treat. Nice if you can post 'Laadale So Jaa' from the same film.
I contacted a very senior presenter at Sri Lanka Broadcasting Corporation. He said the records are available in their library. He gave me the song title and the film.
The musical style and orchestration is very similar to the Lata song "Balma bada nadaan re" from Albela (Music by C.Ramchandra). Both are ideal companion music pieces to each other.
Thanks for uploading this. The previous upload by somebody else had atrocious audio quality. This complex and subtle tune requires a very clean audio track to appreciate it's subtleties. Thanks.
Nothing like a classical or semi-classical song from the lips of a young Lataji. The soft violin and tabla support is also very sweet . An exquisite post. Thanks, Mirzaji.
I just wonder where you get such songs from! Excellent upload. Audio quality is very good. Evidently, the rendering is based on classical raga. I have seen most of the movies of 50s. Probably I missed it. Thanks a lot.
a classic classical song, superb rendition by LATA and only LATA, who else.
Nirmohi has all classic songs, I am looking for this song
ab gam ko bana lenge ji ne ka sahara.
can someone help?
Madan Mohan was one of the greatest music directors, although unlucky.
This is one of his best.
