I love this song, but want to make sure I'm getting the full meaning. The lyrics "Baby I'll let go when you say so. Try to let your heart fly free. I'll crawl outta my cradle, down into my black hole." Can someone expound upon the meaning? I just want to get a few other views on this.
The narrator is in a dead relationship (but he still loves her) in which he continuously is taking the abuse. The beginning of the song depicts this clearly. In the chorus, I believe he is saying that he is ready for this relationship to end, and all he's waiting for is her to say so, so she can move on to someone who she loves. He is saying the cradle/black hole part because he is willing to leave his comfortable place to dark loneliness in order to make her happy.

I drift off into my own little world when I listen to good music like this. I haven't listened to good music in a while so I'm glad that Tim released his album.
