Definitely though s.t. sucked but their early version of institutionalised was better imo. They had a white guitarist do that originally but eMpTy-V wanted a mixed lineup and viola, they got promoted and sell out time on mtv.
What a lame documentary. If you're going to criticise the swastika thing like a poser then just stay the fuck out of a music scene that is for freedom to say what you want in the first place. Half of the l.a. bands had them. 90% of the O.C. bands had them at one time or another.
I don't really like this doc. It leaves out all of the REAL surf punk bands like TSOL, simpletones, etc.etc. If you want to see the real surf punk bands then look here.
