Most music stores do price-matching.Plus every guitar has a different 'feel' to it.So I wouldn't recommend buying any kind of instrument online to be honest.

I have to agree with Inkey2 I have seen these China made guitars up close and 9 out of 10 times the quality is poor, if you have a nice "rip-off" Fender that plays and sounds good then consider yourself very lucky. Just remember before picking up one of these guitars that they replicate these guitars(very poorly) and are often passed off on unsuspecting people who think they are buying the real deal, pretty sad.

In my life I have set-up / repaired at least 15,000 guitars (at a minimum of 15 guitars a week for over 33 years) and believe me when I tell you that a good $250 (USD) guitar is rare enough let alone an $80.00 one. Hey......if someone can bag a great guitar for basically pocket change, great ! .....but a deal like this would not be the norm

@UncleManwich when I was doing set-ups in a well known boston area music shop I was able to get a sunburst, Mexican strat at cost, I took off the white pick-guard and replaced it with a tortoise shell style....it looks great.....then I removed the pick-ups and put in 3 fender "lace-sensor" (noisless) blue on the top, rest were the gold ones, put in out of phase switch etc.....it is just fantastic....LOVE THOSE MEX STRATS !!!!!!!!!!!
