How would you know it has been activated when You are away?.
You shouldn't put mag contacts on the hinge side, you should put it on the swing side. dome contacts and other mechanical contacts should go on the hinge side.
95 decibels. Ya, most of the alarms i video are extremely loud, the camera just doesnt pick it up that good, even though its a very expensive one. This can be heard from downstairs with the tv on quietly. But it can usually be heard.
yeah, there r a lot of people who like alarms. I do. u can try radio shack for an inexpensive alarm. its $100. thats 1 motion and 2 doors. cause the 1 u have can be ripped off in like 2 sec

WOW it took almost 10 seconds until the alarm went off. Im sure there are better products that the alarm will sound immidiatly. I'll keep looking

well if the battery door is opened it will go into alarm, but its no really for security just kinda there. i took it off a few months ago
