  • Want to see small scientists? Come to India! :)

  • he goes to my school at helms middle school

  • Apparently "learning to love science" means "being conditioned to become a moneymaker for big oil"

  • If it wasn't for Chevron I wouldn't have been able to go to High School or College, so for that I thank you. :)

  • This whole commercial always puts a smile on my face.

  • @RBZatlas Of course. It was focus group tested by very smart people so that people like you would find it compelling.

  • @RBZatlas Mine too!!

  • @Maggio20th Proper URL syntax requires a period, not a comma in the domain name. I hope everyone goes there and reads it. It's really perfect. Chevron public relations money pumped into Richmond, CA. so they can feel good and make a commercial about how good they feel etc, etc. Truly, when our prospects dim, I'm sure we'll all look to Richmond for wisdom and guidance. BTW, I work about 10 min from there.

  • @Maggio20th Sometimes the truth hurts.

  • Where's the teacher???????

  • PC crap. Does anyone except the pc crowd believe this kid has a clue about what he's talking about. He will, in all probability, produce nothing of value in life, grow up to be a ward of the state or work for the state. BTW, science and technology are not the same. This is not science. Also, BTW, ... it's not his fault.

  • @Maggio20th We Agree. Let's hope we don't need him someday. And thank you for your revealing racial presumption.

  • @Maggio20th Enjoy your PC comeuppance fantasy. But we both know that that's never going to happen. BTW, If the kid, who was placed in a focus group tested commercial as a PC prop to make folks like you swoon, happened to become a successful doctor ...that would be great.

  • @Maggio20th BTW, "Young man" is not hyphenated. Did you graduate from public shcoolz ? And he doesn't really look like a relative of Henny Youngman, you know, the comic who was always complaining that "I don't get no respect". Hmmm... actually, on second thought.....maybe there is a connection.

  • kid can barely pronounce the names and teacher helped him build? more PC baloney

  • cool

  • @MrWilliamclarke343 Yes we are mad because he can pronounce Servo's and Micro-controller and we can't.

  • Obviously scripted and read from a teleprompter. Destroys any credibility it has. Not the best commercial I've seen.

  • whats the point of building that robot just so you can move a freaking cup!!

  • Kaisaiah is the coolest kid! this commercial makes me believe that anything is possible, that's far from stupid!!!!!

  • @khaizilla So...you receive inspiration from TV commercials. Pathetic.

  • Is it just me or does this dude in the glasses sound like Melman from Madagascar?

  • Does it bother anybody else that both of them interrupt each other?

  • @bstunt10190 I thought it was just me. So yeah, their interrupting of eachother stood out for me

  • This commercial is labeled incorrectly... that is an example of Technology Education.

  • This ad does emphasize the importance of STEM, but robotics is NOT Science. It is Technology and Engineering. Science seeks to understand of the natural world Technology is the modification of the natural world to meet human wants and needs.

  • Woo! I'm a pre-service science teacher! Biology, Earth Science, and Middle School science.

  • Love this commercial. Science DOES rule. Haha. Let's see a high school Science Research commerical with a pro researcher!! Love that class at my school.

  • @VeraciousAmI You sound simple.

  • @kiowaviz Um... Okay? I'm simple for having a passion for science?

  • @kiowaviz Actually I barely watch any TV at all and spend a lot of my time studying, reading, and researching. As in, actual research projects with actual researchers. You're ignorant.

  • @VeraciousAmI People who use the cliche, "Passion for ______" are those who generally take their cues from media/entertainment marketing. My guess is that you are between 15-18 and do most of your "research" with those "actual researchers" on an iPod. Also, people having no recognized or relevant academic credentials to offer usually refer to themselves as "researchers" as in; UFO Researcher, Bigfoot Researcher"etc.

  • @kiowaviz And you're wrong. But I have no reason to prove myself to you. I personally think you just ENJOY harassing people for no apparent reason. Because I actually am working as a research assistant at Binghamton University in nutritional biochemistry.

  • @VeraciousAmI Except that you obviously did feel the need to prove yourself, and loudly. A credibility issue arises therefore.

  • helms middle school representing

  • I work with his mom. Good job Kaisaiah!! =)

  • Winston is a science star!

  • that boy goes to my school!!

  • Excellent
