  • this test just proves that males are smarter.......yeah i really didn't know that.

  • I will try this test on my future children some day.

  • PLANET OF THE APES!!

  • I fell stupid

  • wait a second..."we handle things more differently?..we have more control"???? are you fucking kidding me!!! we are the most EMOTIONAL creatures on the planet...we still fight over territory, females, food, power, RELIGION and feelings!! this guys is fucking retarded!!

  • In like 60 years, I see the chimps doing tests on us instead of them -_-

  • LOL, I can see hundreds of years later some dominance species is gonna fuck around with humans like this...

"watch as the human looks puzzled when i take away its food"

  • as edgier or more daring and they wanted to see what would happen in this situation if they did something they were not supposed to.or what if some didnt even like gummi bears and didn't say it b/c they thought they had to eat one, so they just rang the bell and took the one?

or rang the bell b/c the had to go to the bathroom, or just wanted the woman to come back so they could faster satisfy their curiosity as to what the hell was going on/ what the purpose of what they were doing was?

  • the experiment with the kids failed to account for alot of variables, i think. the waiting was percieved as the "good" thing to do, while pressing the button was kind of presented as having a lack of patience, or the "bad" thing (hence, only one gummi bear in "punishment") and alot of people, once presented with those two options, maybe found the "bad" move tempting, b/c it feels edgier or daring and

  • they are like retarded people

  • Way to spin this into an animal rights issue. That's totally irrelevant.

  • "Way to spin this into an animal rights issue. That's totally irrelevant."

That's the agenda, whether you are able or willing to recognize it or not. Why else would such people try to humanize apes?

  • 0:23 haha that looked so funny. He was like, WTF, who took a piss on me haha. Lovely.

  • GREAT videos. Thank you for sharing.

  • ha ha the SYMBOL they used for post thousands of Internet VIDEOs was

    Toilet paper and the lavalamp

crap only worth as much as taking a shit and usless for reading

  • If you had listened, you would have heard that those items were examples of patents that were filed. Nothing to do with videos. ;)

  • that was a stupid impulse test... its too wordy and there is too much stimulus... too many confounding stimuli, impeding the real measured variable

  • It's funny how people compare us to animals..

They're cute but should probably stay in the wild where they belong instead of in test labs where people are wasting their time. They could be out swinging on a branch or punching another ape in the face..having fun doing what they do best.

  • 'We are animals. The fact that you do not know that shows that humans learning from other humans is not always the best way to learn. (To bad!)

  • the little girl is the smartest one, she just thought "Screw you, i dont want to be part of this experiment i'll just eat the goddamn gummy bear right now and i dont even like those gummy bears!

  • Any animal is aware of others looking at it.

  • awsome the little girl eats it and throws it up to put it back and not get in trouble ll

  • All people are devolved apes snart guy...

  • Thanks for posting this vid. Very interesting.

  • YES! very interesting! keep posting!

  • lol the little girl at 2:53 busted it she just ate is streight away n rang ther bell

  • I always have had a hunch that small talk (talking about the weather etc.) was in reality more important to humans that "big talk" "should we pull out of Iraq"

  • This is a great show, thanks for uploading it. If I get the time I'm going to watch the whole thing. It's quite interesting.

  • I recall seeing another PBS type show many years ago where the experiment demonstrated that Apes were conscious of other minds much like the last experiment on this video.

  • I love PBS...very interesting.

  • They are good, but they make some real crap sometimes.

Dr. Wayne Dyer comes to mind.

  • Interesting stuff.

    Thank you for posting.

  • I would recommend watching the whole episode if you have the time :)
