the experiment with the kids failed to account for alot of variables, i think. the waiting was percieved as the "good" thing to do, while pressing the button was kind of presented as having a lack of patience, or the "bad" thing (hence,only one gummi bear in "punishment") and alot of people, once presented with those two options, maybe found the "bad" move tempting, b/c it feels edgier or daring and

Culture isn't merely behavioral patterns or boundaries for a group. If that were the case, then you'd have to concede dogs & cats (incl wild) have "cultures."
