We loved to criticise Soviet pairs back then for the women being so small. But the size really doesn't matter, in my opinion, as long as the women are as solid, fast, refined and charismatic as was Marina.

OMG!!!! It's my coach Marina!!! She later married Marat Akbarov and they are both teaching in Maryland. I love them both! Excellent coaches.
