I like hearing people talk about products that are far removed from the product itself. The best I can say about his 'sales pitch' style is that he is a replica of the intended market as Sti has become 'softer' in certain key areas (Steering, Rear Suspension and Power/Torque curve). "18 inch wheels and tyres" (1:30). Is that opposed to cars with a different size tyres than wheels...LOL Give me a break.

The US is the LAST of Subaru's market dominance- STi is a cult already. Any explanation of the SI-Drive is droned out by masses of laughter (in my head) of all owners of STi's before 'different' engine 'Tunes' were optional. Real drivers know how to use the gears to alter their driving style. 'Calm the engine down a little' - true STi fans must be outraged.
@lauriejamesmackeson EVERY review I've read/hear & experiences of owners of the manual/auto diff controller report that it makes somewhere between useless & mostly unnecessary. The guy (with his scripted & uninspiring way of talking) in this video could well (& might well) B selling ANY other car brand in the future with the same fake passion for those cars. Can ANY other car brand offer this guy job so Subaru can employ someone better. Either that or he can be given a better script to talk from
I own the sedan version except it's just the wrx and I'm very impressed with it I like the Evo and sti also but this is a good car I wish they would have stuck with the previous years looks but o well
I love both STI and EVO. I recently purchased the EVO X based on the fact that the Subaru simply looks like ass. I tried thinking of things I could do to make it look good if I got it but I can end up spending 2k on looks and no where close to the evo X hot looks. Also another thing that really pushed me against getting the STI was the 2.5l engine. I mean WTF? Its now a fake rally car? Basic rally rules is 2.0l engine. JDM version of STI is 2.0 not USDM...
