so this is what won best game ending in the guiness book? well i think there are like a million other video games that had a way better ending than this! good ending but not better than like other games that are made just for the story, black ops and all other CoD games are mostly made for the multiiplayer, not the story or the ending!

The numbers were referring that Mason was the Assassin during the Kennedy Assassination. Since in that time there may have been more than one bullet shot by different people again these are speculations. Since these speculations were made by professionals it may be true through photographs Oswald may have been one of three shooters.

@XxYungJizzy209xX This whole game is fiction. However, the game is based on true events; ie: JFK's assassination, Bay of Pigs and the Black Operation (Black Ops) and true people. Alex Mason, Hudson, and Woods are not real. Lee Harvey Oswald was the real assassin for JFK, but there are conspiricies that he was not alone. Alex Mason was brainwashed by Dragovich using Nova 6 to pretend that Reznov was still alive. He was programmed to assassinate JFK, which in this case and game, he succeeded.

JFK was killed Novembert 22 (11/22) in Texas with a 6.5mm round. "Ascension" is the name of the code that is implanted in Mason's brain (when he was brainwashed) that, when transmitted, forces Mason to kill JFK.

That's what the ending is alluding to. The guy in the crowd that it zooms in on is Mason.

@XSt0n3rX Treyarch are playing on this though. If you go ahead and learn the zombies storyline, and then compare the events of five with the campaign youl see that JFK was in FIVE before assassination. Treyarch used this to create an image that he was going to tell the world of the zombie attack and expose group 935's experiments. they couldn't allow this to happen so they had him assassinated. Mason being there is so chilling but may just be coincedence. The stories need to be further explored.
