@AledWyn91 Yes, it is. Music has such a strong (and usually quite unconscious) emotional influence on us that ignoring it is truly a shame. :/ I love it how music plays a tremendous part in Sherlock. To me it's not only the maker of atmosphere but also a link to tradition, since you could imagine it suitable for older Holmes adaptations as well. There's something very Holmesian to this music. :)

@ScaredHare Exactly! David Arnold is a lover of the more traditional, lyrical soundtrack (which at a guess is why John Barry handpicked him to take over as the Bond music maestro!) and his themes for this show not only provide atmosphere but also, for me, act as part of the characters themselves. As for the traditional element, there are hints of the Hungarian gypsy scale in this melody which somehow fits Holmes' maverick charm, I agree. :)

While Layton and Holmes are the more smarter parts, Watson and Luke are the less-intelligent-but-equally-l­ogical counterparts. In Layton's videogames, a lot of things remind him of some puzzles that he recalls in order for you to solve and win picarats. Just like in Layton's adventures, Holmes and Watson must also run around town to solve their cases

@mariaMNS92 What audio format does your galaxy-2 only accept? You could use youtube-mp3. o r g to download the music in mp3. After then google "mp3 to *the audio format your galaxy-2 accepts* converter". Plonk the mp3 in the program and watch as the magic does its work for you.

@Biffyhetalia98 Hmm, I doubt it. It was composed especially for 'Sherlock'. I won't deny that it has a very basic musical structure that could easily be similar to something else you've heard. Mind you, that's what makes songs catchy in the first place.
