@lKagomeHigurashi The director commented on Misa's appearance in the movie. Stating that they tried to make her blonde. However being japanese and blonde it just didn't work and went with a much more natural look. However you can find original photos they did for her with the blonde hair if you look online... She's cute but they are right.... It just didn't fit. The hair just came out looking fake and the contacts looked synthesized.

No, the only Death Note novel is a companion piece called Death Note: Another Note. It was written after the original manga, but the storyline is completely different.

What I mean is that Misa's true form can only be found in the original story - in this case the manga. If she's whiny in the manga, she's supposed to be, and she shouldn't be changed.

thats because Misa made a trade with Rem for the "Shinigami eyes" that only Death Note owners can do and because of the price of the trade, Light didnt make the same trade with Ryuk

That was a very very fitting song to a great movie adaptation of one of the greatest Animes/Manga's ever created, Death Note. I loved it from the first volume i read and indeed the Anime is wonderful. I was unsure how the films would be however their take on things was dont with great respect to the original. The actors portrayed the characters wonderfully. Especially the movements of 'L'. The cgi work on the Death gods was also really well done. Your creation here, is a fitting tribute
