Murali is a great bowler, but Warne is a better spin bowler. He has always delivered for Australia, his record is just as good as Muralis. Murali has played alot more matches against lowly teams and Warne has dominated the best batting lineups in the world for the best part of a decade. I rate Murali very highly but the truth in the matter is he has no support bowlers apart from Vaas in the past so it was easy to capture big hauls. Warne had to share wickets with McGrath, Gillespie, Lee ect.

Just pointing something out, Warne also had bowlers that helped put pressure on the opponents. As a spin bowler in a team with pressure-building seam bowlers he was BOUND to get loads of wickets, that's what happens. Murali was a one-man pressure cooker. You can't really compare them.
