Here's the problem, as I see it. With 5 games left, the most pts we can get is 90. There are only 3 teams currently below 90 that are currently in the playoffs in the East (NYR - 89, Philly - 88, Boston - 86; I'm not counting Carolina because they're leading their division). That means if NY wins 1, PHI wins 2 and BOS wins 3, we're done for sure. Even if we end up tied at 90, it'd be pretty unlikely to have more wins (and we're currently tied or losing the relevant season series).

Police came to Roy's house several time : vilence with his wife and kids each time she removed the complain. He is violent with is son. His son became a pain to other players and a chaep goaler. Roy evean caused problems to other coaches.

He is a classical case of narcissic dad who ruins his family life. I have a question for you Steve.

Roy has put some physical treats against the other coach a few months ago. The other coach went to the police. But he has been pressured by the league to remove his charges against Roy. Now Roy has used his own son to do the low job. He was counting on the fact that the other goaler would have defended himself. So everything would have been seen as a general fight. The kid was brilliant not to fight back. They want to keep Roy because the league is making a lot of $ because of his presence.

Rumours says (indeed we know) that Roy is violent and that he is maybe violent home. So don't put too much blame on the kid : put the blame on his ambitious father who forced his son in that sad story. Having been beaten by my own dad from 2 to 16 I know what this kid is living.
