    Decode space signals: SHGb02+14a / 12WOW! / 332070

  • c'est bien un message ! mais trop troublé...

  • Just some guy with a CB

  • Awesome !

  • HEY ASS HATS! How about you not listen in to my private interstellar phone calls...

  • seguid con esto que vais a lograr encontrar algo! como en la peli contact

  • impresionante, piel de gallina

  • Whoever it is, I'll get them this much: they got some mad DJ skills. :U

  • i worked for seti.you all been fooled.i now work for ws-45r.company name travasti.when we get a signal everyone with a radio will know.trust me.its the same with them theyll know were here too.

  • I think it was the mexicans who clean the place. The sound of their vaccuum over the mic

  • @sourapplealtoid you sond like a racist alien

  • is this the original SHGb02+14a signal sound?

  • @Eothan

no it isn't. i had this signal for a while, lost in a formatting, and thought it wasn't a big deal.

the original .wav file was radically different. it's fun cause it sounds like a flying saucer or an alarm, going in and out over some radio noise. been looking at this thing and its complexity for a while on cooledit's spectral view.

now i wish i could find it back...

  • it sounds like a fan running along with something rapidly cutting off the flow from the fan to the mic. O.o

  • Very cool! Sounds like it repeats over and over.

  • Thats the sound of aliens beatboxing!!!

  • i don't hear anything

  • @ldyralazera91

there's nothing to hear it's not shgb02, rather a toilet flushing some crap. original isn't like this.

  • I don't understand the logic in deeming those transmissions as being sent from intelligent extraterrestrial lifeforms, because I firmly believe that based on the varying circumstances of all planets in the universe, they would have developed completely different sensory sets from ours. And if they do have means of communication, they are almost definitely nothing like ours.

  • @mableck

Dude that is so true. I can't believe morons think that other life in the universe just HAS to be like us. Also it couldn't have been aliens because (wiki):

"... It is also a very weak signal. The frequency of the signal has a rapid drift, which would correspond to it being emitted from a planet orbiting nearly 40 times faster than the Earth around the sun."

  • @Jonasvalgo Thats the thing. EMP is the only kind of interstellar communication we're capable of, so we have no choice but to look there. Also, if we were to ever find anything, who says they'd be anything like us? we define out different frequencies as different channels. How do we know someone else would? A drift in frequencies may be very intentional. Course this signal could still be anything.

  • Yeah I don't hear anything. Just interference.

  • I would say that this was a pulsar or a planet what is similar to neptune, because first:You can hear some sounds what are fast reapeted like pulsars.

second:It has a sound what is quite the same in background like neptunes atmosphere. And I'm sure it's not ET or other things like that!

  • it's obviously aliens broadcasting their awesome techno to the radio's built into their spaceships....

  • Interesting that WOW signal and SHGb02+14a come in at the same wave length.

Both of them seem more alien to me every time I listen to them.

  • What freq is this signal broadcasted on??? and from what direction

  • Who thumbed me down -1?. where's your side?. I typed 4 parts to my opinion. lol

  • (PART 1) Is this the actual signal? If it is I can tell you that it is a mix. there's a base singal that cuts of at these time coords, 0:06, 0:08, 0:14,0:19, 0:20, 0:25, 0:30. and where the base signal Peaks the coords are 0:03, 0:07, 0:11, 0:17, 0:23, 0:29. the cut off looks to me like even or round numbers. The peak looks to me like Prime numbers. It also seems like some of the numbers are intentionally missing. missing peak: 2, 5 19. missing cut: 3, 4, 10, 16, 18, 22, 24, 26, 28.

  • (Part 2) This signal Looks Artificial and it has a lot of information in it and if "Real" Definitely worth analyzing further. Ive only looked at one part of the signal and found 5 obvious sets of data, the fith set of data I found was "26644" which is a very unusual sequence and I think the fith number looks like a partial pattern and maby would look like this "226644" I can see some other obvious embeded data sets and associated algorithms.

  • But I wouldent spend anymore time on this unless I knew it was a genuine signal, after all the source I have is from a youtube clip, If it was a "Real" signal I'd be bouncing off the walls. Good Luck!!

  • there are millions of planets out of there it can't be posible that the only planet with life is the world, of course there are someone there the chances are so high, but of course the difficulties of the far planets of millions years of light...

  • that signal sounds as if it was playing really fast maybe someone should slow it down and see if they get a better signal

  • I took that sound and slowed it down. also did some frequency changes. It sounds like a repetitive message over and over again. But so much static it is hard to hear it. I wish I had a sound studio. :(

  • the frequency is at 1420MHz and was observed 3 times

  • Is it 142.0

  • Download a bit torrent and then search sound studio torrent and you will get one for free.

  • it sounded like a scrambled mircoburst, its almost sound like 2 diff sounds, like ppl talking

  • It could be everything.

  • whats needed is big "sets" radio recepters on the moons dark side thus free from any "so called" interference.

  • i just found that they picked up this signal >"3" times.they said it might be a pulsar doubt that.back in 2003 alone was 150 good signals.

  • That might be somthing there saying. Pulsar run on a low freq and swing by every 2 seconds. No way this is a pulsar. This freq is said to be artificial

  • the best signal ive heared from seti home or anywhere is the one that came from deep space LEO constelation. sounds like a star wars hoth prob no chit. they release coordinates of it at seti home.

  • theres co-ords to it?k ill hop into my spaceship and go investigate, ill be back in 10k years

  • @chevezez lol

  • these signals it seems are becoming regular occurance. many from very deep space and picked up over and over from the same spot. i think other worldy beings are real and theres many diffrent kinds of them. some good....some not so good. just like the movie the last star fighter.

also anyone notice the sky isnt blue anymore?. its a sickly whitish color now everyday.

  • That's due to all the chemtrails people have been layind down DAILY... ALL OVER THE DAMN SKY... Do some research... They are pretty fucked up and are lied about ALL THE TIME. It's upsetting, but... Who knows the truth...

  • y cant we take any signal we find and research it and try to get a audio or video sound out of it. Just like are freq transmissions of TV or radio. Because with any non natural freq there is something inside that freq. They always here it but cant see whats in it. I mean whats up with that. Just like the WOW signal from 1977 we still have not found anything in the signal we recorded.

  • its practically impossible to decode that stuff with conventional knowledge, the best we can do is hope that they used some sort of analog signal and not digital

  • There are also a number of potential explanations for this signal. SETI@home has denied media reports of a likely extraterrestrial signal. It could be an artifact of random chance, cosmic noise or possibly just a glitch in the technology.

  • wasnt this signal a computer glitch? oh well i've favourited it anyway!

  • I don't know what you guys have been saying but... there has to be life elsewhere than just on Earth. It's ridiculous to think that in like millions of spacial bodies we're the only one with life? I hope something magical happens during my existence :).

  • pardon my ignorance, but what exactly is the sound in the audio? what exactly do the satellites pick up?

  • Radio astronomers scan specific points in the sky for radio waves. They then take this radio data, and check the cycles for amplitude that cannot be explained by natural phenomena. These waves aren't inherently audio, but the radio waves can be modulated into a wave form to make them audible. However, I doubt the audio in the video is the audio from the signal.

  • thank you for the explanation

  • No problem! Sorry if my explanation was kinda dodgy. :P

  • there is life in space. to think there isn't is silly. but we must be perseverant to only state and listen to facts. we don't have the luxury of "faith" on our side and one hoax or badly interpreted finding can set the race back years. listen to me I sound crazy don't I? but it seems obvious that things that are possible tend to happen eventually.

  • There is life in space. There is no reason to say there is not, or there might be. Even if its single cell life. Its still life. I believe there is other life in space that is far more advanced than us. We are young in the whole comparison to the whole universes, Not just are solar system or even are galaxy is as old as the whole universe. We are at no means alone.

  • i agree but it seems to me like everyone expects us to be more advanced in 100-200 years from now, not to say that isint true but there is a limit to what we can achieve and we will one day reach it, weather it be 50 years from now or 1mil, it still exists

  • @Dusty696969 And if we were alone, it would be a tremendous waste of space...

  • radiation. even seti doesn't claim intelligent life which is what is being implied. not to mention even if there among the first to hear life from outer space, who's to say they'd tell us. how do we know there purpose isn't to discredit true findings misleading us to think all were looking for is sound waves when we might actually have ET technology? ever heard of harrp? it's a testla paten but it's potential applications are extraordinary . ever seen a US ufo? we've made them for years

  • Sounds like the signal got pretty washed out by the vast amount of distance it traveled...probably unrecognizable to the aliens who trasmitted it, much less to us!

  • I might actually get interested in running seti@home again, I haven't run it since 2000 or so.

  • this is a real signal, theres a lot of theories of what is actually is. It could be aliens, unknown interference but it surely is a completely new sound that has never been heard in space before. It is not pulsar or any other natural phenomenon we know of. SETA@home has heard it three times, the third time having the strongest signal. The signal comes from a point between the Aries and Pisces constellations and is most likely extremely old considering the distance away.

  • Plasma discharges

  • I have been crunching for Seti since March 2007. Did the Seti Institute mention this or make this public, because I have heard nothing about it? I so want to believe this.

  • Same here, I've been doing the same thing you have and have heard nothing about this.

  • help seti

  • Is this for real?...did the "Seti@home" project actually detected this?

  • yes, also they have cought this signal 3 times since first detection

  • yes, three times. the third time was the strongest.

  • some day when we get something like GALENA receiver that works in the outer space civilization mode, we´ll hear a lot of comms.

light speed is a limit. they transceiver may works using another universal energy or something our material world cientist do not accept as a possible.

  • no its not a pulsar...its something else!

    thx for the video,good job!

  • Pulsar?

  • Unknown...
